ObjectiveTo evaluate longitudinal strain systolic function of endo,middle,epi layers and global layer of uremic patients using eSie VVI before and after hemodialysis.Investigate acute effect of single hemodialysis on left ventricular systolic function.Methods35 uremic patients underwent hemodialysis in our hospital from October,2015 to December,2016 were enrolled.LAD,LVEF,LVIDd,LVIDs,ESV,EDV and SV were measured.2D-echocardiography was performed 1 hour prior and after hemodialysis,and digital dynamic image was collected.eSie VVI software was used to analyze the values of the longitudinal peak strain of 17 segments and the three layers of the left ventricular myocardium.The analysis results were derived in Excel form.Statistical analysis was used to analyze the results of left ventricular longitudinal systolic peak strain prior and after hemodialysis in patients with uremia.Results 1 conventional ultrasound results:After single hemodialysis,LAD,LVDd,LVDs,EDV,ESV and SV were significantly reduced(P < 0.05),but LVEF was not significantly changed(P>0.05).2 eSie VVI measuring results:Compared with prior hemodialysis session,LPS of the global and endo layer,each layer in basal,the global and endo layer in middle were significantly lower(P < 0.05);There were no significantly difference in LPS of epi layer and middle layer in global,middle and outer layer in middle,each layer in apical(P > 0.05).Conclusions1.A single hemodialysis in a short period of time has a negative effect on the left ventricular systolic function.Therefore,the cardiac function of hemodialysis patients need to be closely observed after hemodialysis.If necessary,appropriate monitoring should be carried out to reduce the occurrence of sudden cardiovascular events.2.eSie VVI technology is a sensitive approach to evaluate left ventricular global and regional myocardial function in patients with hemodialysis,and has potential applications in clinical practice.
