The Clinical Efficacy's Observation Of Treating Adenomyosis With Nei Yi-ting Formula And Its Impact On VEGF/VEGFR-2

Objectives:Studies have shown that the occurrence of Adenomyosis(Adenomyosis,Am)is closely related with the "3A" procedure-adhesion,invasion and angiogenesis,and as we know,for AM's happening,expanding and outcome,angiogenesis plays a very important role.Traditional Chinese medicine has made great progress in the experimental research and clinical practice of anti-angiogensis at the same time.This study is to observe the clinical curative effect's changes of patients with AM taking Nei Yi-ting formula,discuss the Nei Yi-ting formula's effect on serum VEGF and eutopic endometrium of VEGFR-2 from the aspect of antiangiogenesis,observe the correlation between AM and VEGF/VEGFR-2 signaling pathway,elucidate the mechanism of this formula in treating AM,and finally for the treatment of AM by traditional Chinese medicine,provide a more adequate experimental basis and broader research ideas.Methods:Forty patients of AM visiting to Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were chosen as research subjects and all of them were averagely separated with treatment group and control group.the former oral Nei Yi-ting formula and the latter oral Gui-zhi-fu-ling capsule.All patients need to take medicine after menstruation and stop to take it in menstruation,which had to last four months.As a result,the clinical curative effect's changes of two groups were observed before and after treatment.Results:The dysmenorrhea score,TCM symptoms and signs score of the treatment group after treatment compared with before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Accordingly,after treatment,the control group's dysmenorrhea score,TCM symptoms and signs score compared with before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the differences were obvious between the two groups in the dysmenorrhea score,TCM symptoms and signs score(P<0.05).After treatment,the treatment group' s total effective rate were respectively 88%but the control group's were 70%,and comparison of the comprehensive efficacy between the two groups,the difference was obvious(P<0.05).The treatment group after treatment serum-CA125 and VEGF compared with before treatment,the differences were apparent(P<0.05).Accordingly,after treatment,the control group serum-CA125 and VEGF compared with before treatment,the differences were also apparent(P<0.05).After treatment,the difference was not apparent in the serum-CA125 and VEGF between that two groups(P>0.05).The treatment group after treatment eutopic endometrium of VEGFR-2 compared with before treatment,there was no remarkable difference(P>0.05).The control group after treatment eutopic endometrium of VEGFR-2 compared with before treatment,there was no evident difference(P>0.05).After treatment,the difference was not remarkable in the eutopic endometrium of VEGFR-2 between that two groups(P>0.05).There was a comparision on eutopic endometrial VEGFR-2 between the treatment group oral Nei Yi-ting formula and the other group no using medicine Judging from the results,there was remarkable difference between them(P<0.05).And accordingly speaking,the expression of VEGFR-2 in oral Nei Yi-ting formula group decreased significantly.Conclusion:1.Nei Yi-ting formula could obviously improve the AM patients'dysmenorrhea degree,TCM syndromes and signs,which is better than that of the Gui-zhi-fu-ling capsule.2.Nei Yi-ting formula could significantly reduce the serum-CA125 and VEGF levels and there was no statistical difference comparing with Gui-zhi-Fu-ling Capsule.3.The effect of Nei Yi-ting formula and Gui-zhi-fu-ling capsule in changing eutopic endometrial VEGFR-2 level is not obvious,which may be related to the small sample size.4.The expression of VEGFR-2 in the oral Nei Yi-ting formula group decreased significantly than the blank control group.This shows that Nei Yi-ting formula could reduce the level of eutopic endometrium VEGFR-2.5.Nei Yi-ting formula is effective in the treatment of AM,and the mechanism may be mediated by interfering with the VEGF/VEGFR-2 signaling pathway.
