| Chronic rhinitis is a kind of chronic inflammation disease,which nasal obstruction is the main clinical manifestation with secretion increases.According to Chinese medicine theory,Chronic rhinitis belongs to "stuffy nose" category in TCM and qi stagnation and blood stasis is the main pathogenesis.Objective:To observe the clinical study of Xinju spray inhalation treat the qi stagnation and blood stasis of nasal ventilation of chronic rhinitis patients,to explore the effect of Xinju spray.Nasal obstruction symptom scores and nasal resistance(NR)measures before and after treatment.The study is to explore the diversity way to treat chronic rhinitis and to exert superiority of TCM.Inaddition,it is to provide theoretical and clinical evidence for the study of nasal ventilation,to enrich the outside of Chinese medicine therapies in ENT.Methods:The 60 patients were all came from the Guangdong Provincial TCM Hospital(from the July of 2016 to the February of 2017).All patients for the chronic rhinitis of qi stagnation and blood stasis conform to selected condition.All cares were divided into two blocks at random:the patients in every block were divided into treatment group and control group randomly.Each treatment group and control group contains 30 patients.The treatment group adopt Xinju spray inhalation with traditional Chinese medicine oral therapy,nasal spray was qod and not less than 3 times per course for 2 weeks.The control group adopt traditional Chinese medicine oral therapy,a daily one,decoction for 2 weeks.To collect all cases clinical date,and measure the nasal obstruction symptom scores nasal resistance before and after treatment,then establish clinical database.The VAS and NR data were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.SPSS20.0 was used to deal with the measured clinical data,and the t test,chi-square test,rank sum test were used for analysis to evaluate the treatment effect.Results:This study includes 60 chronic rhinitis patients of qi stagnation and blood stasis.By statistical test,the two groups were no statistical differences in gender,age,VAS,NR and various indicators(P>0.05),they were comparable and balanced.In both groups,the nasal obstruction score assessment and NA descended significantly between the before and after treatment(P<0.05).Xinju spray group and pure Chinese medicine oral group before treatment,the average value of NR were respectively:1.809±1.059,1.476±0.947 kPa' s/L,after treatment respectively:0.770±0.734,0.509±0.475 kPa s/L.The difference between the two groups was statistically after treatment(P>0.05)and the nasal resistance in Xinju spray group was significantly decreased than that in pure Chinese medicine oral group.Comparison the VAS of the two groups after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05),can be considered the effect of the two groups had difference.After treatment,the average rank of Xinju spray group was 27.03,and the average rank of the pure Chinese medicine oral group was 33.97,the Xinju spray group is significantly better than the pure Chinese medicine oral group.And no untoward reaction was discovered.Conclusion:Xinju spray inhalation can decease the symptoms of chronic rhinitis nasal obstruction,especially the qi stagnation and blood stasis.And it may be useful in clinical application,which deceases the NR data,improves nasal ventilation.Xinju spray inhalation provides an effective non-surgery way for treatment of nasal obstruction.And the therapy was well safety,tolerated and no side-effects.Xinju spray may provide a safe and effective therapy for patients with chronic rhinitis of nasal ventilation. |
