[Objective] To observe the protective effect of bioimpedance spectroscopy guided ultrafiltration on residual renal function in new hemodialysis patients.[Methods] Patients with end-stage renal disease were recruited from January 2015 to June2016,were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. And all the patients were followed up for 3 months. The ultrafiltration was guided by the bioimpedance spectroscopy analysis in the experimental group, while the ultrafiltration was based on the edema, blood pressure, symptoms of low blood pressure and the increase of weight during the hemodialysis interphase in the control group. The difference of residual renal function,24 hours urine volume and the incidence rate of adverse events between the two groups were collected.[Results] there was no significant difference in baseline data of residual renal function,24 hour urine volume, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, albumin, hemoglobin, calcium, phosphorus and parathyroid hormone levels between the two groups before hemodialysis. At the end of follow-up,The urine volume and RRF in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. The calcium in the experimental group were higher than that in the control group.there was no statistical difference between the two groups in the incidence of adverse events,Systolic and diastolic blood pressure, albumin, hemoglobin, phosphorus and parathyroid hormone levels. The residual renal function and the 24 hour urine volume of the two groups were lower than baseline values.Hemoglobin and albumin levels in two groups were higher than baseline values.Systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were lower than baseline values in the two groups.Serum calcium levels in the two groups were compared with baseline values of serum phosphorus increased, compared to the baseline value increased, parathyroid hormone increased compared to baseline.24 hour urine volume was correlated with residual renal function. The ultrafiltration volume was positively correlated with the rate of residual renal function. There was a positive correlation between the ultrafiltration volume and the decrease rate of 24 hour urine volume.[Conclusion] It is helpful for slowing down the decline of residual renal function by using the bioimpedance spectroscopy guided ultrafiltration.
