Background and Objective:Alcohol induced mental disorders have become a widespread concern in many countries and lead to serious socioeconomic and medical problems.Yunnan is located in the border, many ethnic minorities, which leads to the problem drinking problems and mental disorders are more prominent.Alcohol induced mental disorders have different clinical subtypes, such as psychotic disorders(hallucinations, paranoia and depression syndrome),intelligent damage, etc. This paper aims to clear the mental disorder caused by alcohol in different clinical subtypes(hallucinations, depression syndrome and intellectual impairment)disease related brain regions and damage properties;using symptom checklist to evaluate the severity of the corresponding mental symptoms, and use scale scores and neuroimaging changes do correlation analysis, and then analysis the severity of the symptoms of mental and pathophysiological change the correlation between mental disorders due to alcoholMaterials and methods:10 cases of normal subjects set of frontal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe, hippocampus, cingulate gyrus, the nucleus accumbens and corpus callosum brain regions of magnetic resonance spectroscopy(MRS)detection n-acetylaspartate/creatine compounds(NAA/Cr)and diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)detection of anisotropic score(FA)value, the arterial spin labeling(ASL)detection of cerebral blood flow(CBF)value, and carries on the Hamilton depression rating scale(HAMD,17)and simple intelligence assessment test scale(MMSE)state.According to diagnostic criteria and grouping criteria for patients with mental disorders due to use of alcohol, selecting the illusion of 17 cases of frontal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe, hippocampus, cingulate gyrus, the nucleus accumbens and corpus callosum brain regions to MRS inspection NAA/Cr value,DTI FA value,ASL CBF and assess the positive and negative symptoms scale(PANSS);Depression group of 19 cases of frontal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe, hippocampus, cingulate gyrus, the nucleus accumbens and corpus callosum area detection of MRS NAA/Cr value,DTI inspection FA value,ASL CBF value, and HAMD assessment;Select intelligence damage group of 14 cases of frontal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe, hippocampus, cingulate gyrus, the nucleus accumbens and corpus callosum area detection of MRS NAA/Cr value,DTI inspection FA value,ASL CBF value, and assess the MMSE.Results:1.The illusion of subjects(17 cases)of bilateral occpital lobe, left temporal lobe and right hippocampus NAA/Cr decreased(p<0.05),bilateral temporal lobe, occipital lobe, cingulate gyrus, corpus callosum, left hippocampus, right frontal lobe, right nucleus accumbens FA value decreased significantly in the left frontal lobe(p<0.05);NAA/Cr and PANSS depression factor score negatively correlated with FA value, thinking disorder factor scores, factor scores of negative correlation with the PANSS positive sub scale, bilateral temporal lobe NAA/Cr and PANSS positive score, negative correlation scores, response deficiency factor negative correlation,FA value and PANSS of positive and negative scale negative correlation.Double lateral occipital NAA/Cr and PANSS score, positive symptom score of negative correlation,FA value is negatively correlated with depression factor score and general pathology, bilateral NAA/Cr and PANSS of hippocampus response to the lack of scores of negative correlation, right cingulate NAA/Cr and PANSS scores, and the lack of positive response The factor scores of negative correlation, left cingulate FA value negatively correlated with the score of PANSS,NAA/Cr and PANSS in bilateral nucleus accumbens positive scale, the lack of response factor negative correlation of FA value and general pathology, thought disorder factor PANSS negative correlation, bilateral corpus callosum NAA/Cr and PANSS score of negative correlation.2.The depression subjects(19 cases)of the left temporal lobe, left cingulate and right frontal lobe, right temporal lobe and right hippocampus NAA/Cr decreased(p<0.05),bilateral frontal lobe, hippocampus and right temporal lobe FA values decreased significantly(p<0.05);depression group left frontal and bilateral cingulate NAA/Cr and HAMD scores of negative correlation, the left corpus callosum, bilateral temporal lobe FA values are negatively correlated with the HAMD scale.3.The intelligent damage subjects(14 cases)of bilateral temporal lobe, occipital lobe, hippocampus and right frontal NAA/Cr values decreased significantly(p<0.05),bilateral frontal lobe, temporal lobe, hippocampus, cingulate gyrus, corpus callosum,FA value decreased significantly(p<0.05);intelligent damage of hippocampus, bilateral cingulate group NAA/Cr and MMSE the scale is positive correlation, right hippocampus, bilateral cingulate FAand MMSE scale were positively correlated. Conclusion:These results suggest that alcohol induced mental disorders. The subjects are extensive brain damage, differ in different subtypes of the damaged area, damaged areas exist at the same time neurons and white matter damage, brain structural damage and functional performance may be correlated.Combined use of a variety of functional magnetic resonance imaging and symptom scales can play an important role in the study of alcohol induced mental disorders, and provide a strong support for more accurate clinical diagnosis and treatment assessment.
