Root surface caries(RSC)is a common disease in oral medicine, which has the characteristics of high prevalence, high drug resistance rate and low case detection rate. Many scholars have done a lot of researches on the pathogenesis of root caries. Some scholars believe that the occurrence of root caries is related to many factors, such as bacteria, immunity, and so on.So looking for Chinese medicine whinch can modify the oral biofilm structure, adjust its internal composition of bacteria and intervene in the aspects of immunity has gradually become the focus. In recent years,it's found that Cimicifuga and Galla chinensis are frequently used in oral diease. The aim of this study is to observe the therapeutic effect of Gal la chinensis and Cimicifuga on root caries rats, the changes of tooth morphology in rats, and the possible mechanism of Galla chinensis and cimicifuga through the detection of TNF-? and IL-8 in rat dental pulp tissue. The results are as follows:1 The Keyes score of the rats cured by Galla chinensis and Cimicifuga showed that Galla chinensis and Cimicifuga can inhibit rat smooth E level and Ds level of caries,Ethyl gallate is much better than the other groups, and in the Ds score, compareed with the negative control group, the compatibility group of low polar Cimicifuga and ethyl gallate and the low polar Cimicifuga group have no significant difference.Galla chinensis and Cimicifuga can inhibit rat molar fissure E grade?Ds grade,?Dm grade and Dx dental caries, but in the Dm and Dx score, compared with the negative control group, low polar group score although cohosh decreased, but not statistically Meaning(P>0.05).2 Cimicifuga and Galla chinensis can be generated to inhibit TNF-a,IL-8 and other cytokines, but the effect of Galla chinensis and Cimicifuga compatibility group was not significantly better than single.
