Objective: To investigate the clinical value of the TCT?HPV?hTERC and C-MYC gene for the screening of cervical lesion in Xinjiang Uygur women. Methods : One thousand cytological specimens were collected from Xinjiang Uygur women, all the specimens had undertaken Thinprep Cytology Test(TCT),Human papilloma virus test,hTERC and C-MYC gene tests,Then the sample with any positive result underwent colposcopic indicated biopsy or abnormal tissue biopsy.Result:Positive rates of HPV infection,hTERC,C-MYC gene were consistent with the increase of cervical lesions diagnosed by cytological and histological examination(P<0.05),the positive rate of HPV infection hTERC,C-MYC gene amplification in CIN? and higher grade lesions is higher than CIN?and lower grade lesions(P<0.05).hTERC,C-MYC gene amplification in HPV-positive group are higher than HPV-negative group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Both hTERC and C-MYC gene test showed approving sensitivity, specificity and negative prediction rate on the condition of CIN? and higher grade of cervical lesions,The area under ROC curve of TCT,HPV,hTERC,C-MYC gene test on the condition of CIN? and higher grade of cervical lesions was 0.657,0.639,0.879,0.835 respectively.Conclusion1.The abnormal amplification of hTERC,C-MYC geneincreases with the worsening of cervical lesions,They may be served as significant biogenetic markers in predicting the development of cervical lesions.2.HPV infection and hTERC,C-MYC gene abnormal amplification were strongly associated hTERC and C-MYC gene may play an important role in the development of the cervical cancer.3.hTERC and C-MYC gene detection have higher screening values and make sense on the condition of CIN? and higher grade of cervical lesions.
