Track The Infection Of Klebsiella Pneumoniae

BACKGROUND:Klebsiella pneumoniae is a common clinical pathogens and can causes pneumonia,urinary tract infection,bloodstream infection and a series of infectious diseases.However,the current drug resistance of Klebsiella pneumoniae is becoming more and more serious.The epidemiological study of Klebsiella pneumoniae has become a hot spot.Understand the clinical way of transmission of Klebsiella pneumoniae can be used for clinical prevention and treatment of Klebsiella pneumoniae.OBJECTIVE:To understand the prevalence and spread of Klebsiella pneumoniae in the general surgical ward of Nanjing General Hospital by means of bacterial traceability.METHODS:All patients with Klebsiella pneumoniae infection were collected from the General Surgery Institute of Nanjing JinLing Hospital from January 2017 to March 2017.The general information of the patients,the hospitalization,the type of the specimen,the outcome of the infection,and the drug sensitivity information of Klebsiella pneumoniae were collected and analyzed for drug resistance.The affinity of Klebsiella pneumoniae was analyzed by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE)to find out the origin and transmission of these bacteria.Analysis of the transmission of Klebsiella pneumoniae between the ward and the ward in the general surgical institute.RESULTS:A total of 46 strains were obtained from 29 patients in general surgery from General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region from January 2017 to March 2017.Most of the strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae from 7th,8th ward and 37th ward.Analysis of drug resistance finds that the antibiotic-resistance is a serious problem.The resistance of cephalosporin has reached over 80%,resistance to imipenem has reached 80%.The results of cluster analysis showed that there has always been some specific strains colonized in wards.These specific strains can spread between different ward and cause serious infection.CONCLUSION:In the general surgery of Nanjing General Hospital,Klebsiella pneumoniae infection is very serious problem,and the drug resistance of bacteria is also very prominent.Ordinary carbapenem antibiotics have been difficult to play an effective therapeutic effect.In the general surgery there are some specific types of Klebsiella pneumoniae,need to pay attention to environmental testing and the hand hygiene to prevent the spread of bacteria and infection.
