BackgroundCervical spine facet joints are also known as Facet Joint or facet joint,is covered by the inferior articular process of one vertebral body to the next on the vertebral facet to stabilize around and protect the cartilage and muscles constitute,jointly with the disc movement,composed of two three-joint complex stress abnormal results in the degeneration of the cervical spine.When the disc degeneration,is bound to lead to changes in intervertebral height,and facet joint morphology changes,with impact wear of the cartilage,causing the degeneration of the Facet joints.Normal Facet Joint of space direction Yu cervical at more trend Yu Crown-like surface,and with degenerative sex change of progress,Facet Joint of space direction increasingly trend Yu vector-like surface;for this phenomenon of explained views,has scholars think Facet Joint of direction trend Yu vector-like surface is degenerative sex cervical disease of causes,also has scholars think Facet Joint of direction deviated from Crown-like surface is cervical back variable Hou Anatomy structure two times remodeling of results.As to which theory is consistent with degeneration of the cervical spine,and that a conclusion has not been uniform.Most of the Facet Joint angle in the current literature is based on the spiral CT or MRI sagittal Facet joints overlapped part of the midpoint of the single measurements,there are some limitations and cervical Facet joint head and tail angle measurement documents have not been reported.ObjectiveStudy on analysis of head and tail of the Facet joints and cervical spondylosis in patients with clinical relevance.MethodsCollect between December 2014 to December 2016 to clinics or wards for treatment of suspected patients with cervical spondylosis in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University orthopedic surgery,asked after a complete medical history,giving each patient’s cervical lateral,extension over lateral bend DR,CT of the cervical spine on plain + three-dimensional reconstruction of cervical MRI scan.From confirmed for neck disc highlight syndrome of patients in the,excluded cervical operation Hou,and had has TB,infection sex history,and tumor sex disease and spine deformity of patients,selected only has C5/6 section paragraph disc highlight and highlight oppression spinal cord of patients 25 people;again from I hospital medical section selected no cervical disease and suspected symptoms,and gender and age phase match of normal 25 people,give same of image learn check.Respectively records its gender,and age,and Yu two group in the each sample are selected C4/5,and C5/6 a section paragraph,in spiral CT of cross section measurement each section paragraph corresponds to disc upper and lower margin of head tail Facet Joint of direction and vertebral body vector-like line of angle.Angle measure in order to reduce the error mentioned above,respectively,two attending physicians by double blind method to measure HIS Pacs software system in our hospital,and measure results with statistics and SPSS software for analysis and processing.ResultsAccording to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria included in cervical disc herniation group 25 patients and normal control group of 25 patients were compared.1.highlight the Group’s 5/6 section head,rear Facet Joint angle is less than 4/5 section head,tail,Facet Joint angle,statistically significant;the control group 5/6 section head,tail Facet Joint angle is greater than 4/5 section head,tail,Facet Joint angle,not statistically significant;2.highlight Group 5/6 segmental Facet joints of the head,the tail compared to the Facet Joint,neck 4/5 head Facet joints,tail compared to the Facet Joint,no clear difference;the control group 5/6 head,tail,contrast and 4/5 comparison of head,tail,were not significantly different.(See table 3)3.highlight the Group 5/6 segmental Facet Joint angle of the head than the normal control group 5/6 segmental Facet Joint angle of the head;rear Facet Joint angle is also true;prominent group 4/5 segmental Facet Joint angle of the head than the normal control group 4/5 Facet Joint angle of the head,and the tail as well.Were statistically significant.ConclusionFacet Joint direction of change may be the cause of degeneration of the cervical spine,the closer to the sagittal plane more severe degeneration of the cervical spine,2.highlight segment normal adjacent segment degeneration or probability of degeneration.
