| ObjectiveTo analysis the changed trend of the cytokines in the dengue fever, and to provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment. To analysis the difference of cytokines between primary and secondary infection of Dengue, and to explore the role of cytokines in Dengue fever.MethodsInvestigating the levels of 23 important cytokines in plasma collected from primary or secondary infection of dengue patients at different time points by FCM to understand the contribution of the role of cytokines in secondary infection of dengue. The classification of dengue fever is according to the IgG and IgM antibody detected by ELISA kit in patient plasma.ResultsCytokines including ENA-78、I-TAC、Mig、TARC、RANTES、MCP-1 and IP-10 displayed significant differences in all periods of illness between Dengue infection patients and health control. The levels of IL-10、IFN-aand MCP-1 displayed significant differences on day 1-4 of illness between primary and secondary infection of dengue(P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001).In addition, levels of IFN-y on day 5-6 of illness(P<0.05),Mig on day 5-6(P<0.05)and day 7-8(P<0.05)of illness,TARC on day 1-4(P<0.01)and day 5-6(P<0.05)of illness displayed significant differences between primary and secondary infection of dengue.ConclusionCytokines play an important role in the pathogenesis of Dengue, the increased or decreased level of cytokine is closely related to the development of disease.Cytokines of IL-10、IFN-α、MCP-1、Mig and TARC play an important role in the development of secondary infection of dengue, and may be an important cause of the acute aggravation in the secondary infection of dengue.Hence, the potential medical applications of these cytokines in the research of dengue vaccine may cause our attention. |
