Effect Of Electro-acupuncture And Point Moxibustion On Gastric Microangiopathy In Diabetic Gastroparesis Rats

Objective: To explore the different effects to Diabetic gastroparesis(DGP)by using electro-acupuncture and point moxibustion to DGP rats.Methods: DGP model rats were established by injection of 55mg/kg,2% STZ into peritoneal cavity and raised by high-fat and high-sugar fodder irregularly for 8weeks.Forty-eight SD rats were randomly and equally divided into normal,model,electro-acupuncture and point moxibustion,10 rats in each group.The general symptoms(fur color,mental state,action,stool property),blood sugar and food taking were being observed.After the treatment,the rate of gastric emptying and propelling rate of small intestine were measured,basic pathological changes of gastric mucosa was examined by HE stain,OD value of ET-1 in plasma was examined by ELISA,expression of Angiotensin 2 receptor(AT?)and Endothelial nitric oxide synthase mRNA in antrum smooth muscle was examined by Real-time Quantitative PCR.Results: 1.General symptoms,blood sugar: Compared with the normal group,model group increased markedly(P < 0.01);Compared with model group,electro-acupuncture group and point moxibustion group decreased obviously(P < 0.05);and the curative effects of electro-acupuncture group and point moxibustion group were unconspicuous(P> 0.05).2.Food taking,the rate of gastric emptying and propelling rate of small intestine: Compared with the normal group,model group decreased markedly(P< 0.05 or P< 0.01);Compared with model group,electro-acupuncture group and point moxibustion group increased obviously(P< 0.05);and the curative effects of electro-acupuncture group and point moxibustion group were unconspicuous(P> 0.05).3.HE stain: The gastric mucosa of the normal group was clear and distinctly arranged.The structure of the blood vessel was completely clear and the glands were neatly arranged.The gastric mucosa of the normal group was blurred with disordered structure.The blood vessel was deformed and the structure was not clear with disordered gland.The gastric mucosal border of the electro-acupuncture group was clear,the structure was a little disorder,the blood vessel was a little deformed and the glands were preferably arranged.The gastric mucosal border of the point moxibustion was slightly clear,the structure was slightly clear,and the glands were irregularly arranged.4.The OD value of ET-1 in plasma,the expression level of AT? mRNA in antrum: Compared with the normal group,model group increased markedly(P< 0.01);Compared with model group,electro-acupuncture group and point moxibustion group decreased obviously(P< 0.05);and the curative effects of electro-acupuncture group and point moxibustion group were unconspicuous(P> 0.05).5.The expression level of eNOS mRNA in antrum: Compared with the normal group,model group decreased markedly(P < 0.01);Compared with model group,electro-acupuncture group and point moxibustion group increased obviously(P< 0.05);and the curative effects of electro-acupuncture group and point moxibustion group were unconspicuous(P> 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Electro-acupuncture and point moxibustion can cure DGP effectvely and improve the symptoms of delayed gastric emptying.2.Electro-acupuncture and point moxibustion can regulate the ectasias lesion of DGP.3.The effect of electro-acupuncture and point moxibustion on diabetic gastroparesis was not obvious.
