The Clinical Study On Treating Insomnia Of Liver-fire Disturbing Heart Syndrome By Jieyu Anshen Decoction

Objective:Through the randomized controlled study, evaluating the relevant effect of treatment by Jieyu Anshen decoction composition on insomnia of heart disturbed by liver-fire.Method: This research in accordance with the requirements for statistical computing needs 60 effective cases, considering the cases may fall off in the follow-up process, so the sample size to expand by 10%, according to the inclusion criteria screening 66 patients as the subjects. Test using completely randomized, applying DPS2.0 software specified test sample 66, group 2,get the related corresponding number of treatment group and control group. Then 66 cases included in standard insomnia will be numbered in clinic order, according to the results of the random design into the treatment group and control group,33 people in each group. The treatment group adopted " Jieyu Anshen decoction "; Control group only adopted "Eszopiclone",4 weeks for a period of treatment, statistical and observe two groups of PSQI score and TCM symptom score before and after the treatment.Results:Two groups after treatment in the score and total score of PSQI compared with before all had significant differences (P< 0.01). In terms of PSQI deducted rate, effective rate of the treatment group was 83.3%, effective rate of the control group was 93.3%, two groups after treatment had no statistical differences (P> 0.05). After treatment the PSQI score and total score of Treatment group and control group had no significant differences (P> 0.05). In terms of TCM syndrome score, Comparison between the two groups after treatment had significant statistical differences (P< 0.01), the treatment group is better than the control group. In terms of single syndromes, the treatment group is better than the control group on the treatment of dreams, irritability, chest pain, dry mouth and brown urine, the result had statistical differences (P< 0.05), especially on the treatment of dreams, irritability, chest pain and brown urine among them, while Comparison between the two groups had no statistical difference on the treatment of insomnia (P> 0.05).Conclusion:" Jieyu Anshen decoction " can improve the sleep quality of insomnia patients of heart disturbed by liver-fire, shorten the time needed for sleep,have good effect on the time of sleep, the efficiency of sleep, sleep disorders and daytime dysfunction, " Jieyu Anshen decoction " and " Eszopiclone " have similar therapeutic effect in the above aspects, but " Jieyu Anshen decoction " is better than " Eszopiclone " on the treatment of dreams, irritability, chest pain, dry mouth and brown urine In terms of TCM syndrome score.
