ObjectiveThe public health problem of the elderly people has become more and more prominent with the aging of the population,which is public health problem not only in China but also in the whole world that brought a series of social problems. Therefore, a good solution of health and health problems of the elderly can make the whole society develop to the healthy and harmonious direction. The rural elderly is a relatively special group, because the particularity of their way and concept of life, living habits make suffering from chronic damage of the disease may have particularity when they are into old age.Through the study of a town in the west of Liaoning Province over the age of 65,we investigated the chronic diseases of the elderly resident of the area, at the same time,we investigated the main influencing factors which is possible,and it provided the scientific basis for making health care work in the future and related policies.Research objects and methods1.Investigation objectChoose resident population of one town in the west of Liaoning province, health examination for the elderly aged 65 years and above, a total of 1970 elderly people.2.The investigation indexUsing a questionnaire which is unified compiled by trained investigators, questionnaire survey on the rural residents aged above 65 years old. The questionnaire included gender, age, occupation, marital status, living habits(smoking, drinking, exercise), medical history, medical insurance and other aspects of the subjects. Previous diagnosis of chronic diseases must be approved by the city(District, county) level above hospital diagnosis.Health examination was checked by full-time medical staff. Check the contents including fasting blood samples, determination of triglycerides, total cholesterol, blood routine, blood glucose, blood uric acid content; collect morning urine and determine urine, urine routine; simultaneous determine of blood pressure andelectrocardiogram of investigation objects.3 Statistical methodsStatistic the constitution of various conditions and relevance ratio, The collected data using SPSS 17.0 statistical software in the test were analyzed statistically, significant level ?= 0.05.ResultsThis time for a township in the northwest of Liaoning Province, 65 years old, living in the local elderly over 65 years of investigation and health examination. 65 years old living in the local old people a total of 1970 people, including 992 males accounting for 50.4% and 978 females accounting for 49.6%.The object of this investigation are in the local farming agricultural population, have participated in the rural cooperative medical insurance. the incidence rate of chronic diseases in the survey was hyperlipidemia > hypertension >abnormal electrocardiogram > hypohemia > hyperglycaemia > hyperuricemia, elderly people with a history of chronic diseases in the investigation was detected in corresponding disease was significantly higher than that no previous chronic disease(P<0.05); with the increase of age, the prevalence of hypertension in patients gradually increased(P<0.05), the detection rate in elderly people who has a history of of hypertension is higher than that of non hypertension elderly(P<0.05); gender, smoking, drinking, whether patients with electrocardiographic abnormality has no obvious effect on electrocardiographic abnormal rate in the survey(P>0.05), with the increase of age, the rate of electrocardiographic abnormality increased significantly(P<0.05); age and drinking has no obvious effect on high triglyceride(P>0.05), elderly women were more likely to be detected the high glycerin three greases detection than men(P<0.05), and the rate in smokers was significantly higher than that in non-smokers; Smoking and drinking has no obvious effect on the high cholesterol detection rate(P>0.05), elderly women with high cholesterol detection rate was significantly higher than that of male(P<0.05), with the increase of age, high cholesterol was significantly decreased(P<0.05); smoking and drinking has no obvious effect on high cholesterol(P>0.05); age, smoking and drinking has no obvious effect on high uric acid detection rate(P>0.05), high uric acid detection rate in female elderly was significantly higher than that in male(P<0.05); gender, age, smoking and drinking had no obvious effect on hyperglycaemia(P>0.05); smoking and age had no significant effect on anemia(P>0.05), detection rate of anemia in elderly male human was significantly higher than that in female(P<0.05), the detection rate of anemia in who was drinking was significantly higher than that in non drinkers(P<0.05).ConclusionThe incidence rate of chronic diseases in the survey was hyperlipidemia > hypertension >abnormal electrocardiogram > hypohemia > hyperglycaemia > hyperuricemia in one town in the west of Liaoning province. Main factors affecting the detection rate of hypertension for age and previous history of hypertension; the detection rate of hypertriglyceridemia was affected by smoking and gender, detection rate of high cholesterol was affected by age and gender; gender; age, gender, smoking, alcohol consumption had no obvious effects on the detection rate of hyperglycemia; the detection rate of anemia was affected by gender and alcohol consumption.
