Objective: The general condition, condition of injury and treatment of the patients were collected to learn the effect of the hand injury, and to provide the reference of the relevant prevention and treatment. Methods: We selected 372 cases of hand injury who occurred in 2015—2016 in Shenyang Red Cross Hospital and collected the relevant information of the patients. The data was processed and analyzed by the SPSS 21.0 statistical software. X ±S for measurement data, rate or constituent ratio for counting data. T?analysis of variance or ?2 test for single factor analysis. Results: 1. general condition: the average age of the 372 cases was 44.61±16.61 years old and the main part of the patients were in 25 ~ 49 years old. Male to female ratio was 2.58 to 1 among the patients. The patients mainly were workers and accounted for 35.75%. The patients who were the most in the survey were the people graduating from junior high schools or lower. The patients mainly were married and accounted for 70.43%. 2. condition of injury: the number of people injured first finger were the most, which accounted for 15.27%. 17.20% of patients were multiple site damage. The mainly patients were in cutting wound. The ratio of open injury which was more than closed wound was 86.02%. 80.11% of patients were the injury of dominant hand in this study. The hand wound almost occurred at home and the percentage was 36.83%. The daily peak time when 46.77% of cases occurred was from 4p.m. to 12 p.m. and the wound mostly happened in Tuesday and Wednesday. The majority of the patients(68.01%)saw a doctor within 6 hours. 3. injury effect: There were differences in occupation about the multiple site damage(?2=8.680,p=0.034). There were differences in age about the kind of wound(?2=7.962,p=0.019). There were differences in sex about the kind of wound(?2=6.181,p=0.013). 4. treatment condition: the mainly patients were in the basic medical insurance and accounted for 38.98%. The average age of the patients was 7704.32±743.10 RMB. 46.20% of the patients paid 5000— 10000 RMB. The average age of length of hospital stay was 14.23±4.33 days. 92.74% of the patients stay in hospital in 1—30 days. Well-healed patients accounted for 61.29%, who were the most. 5. treatment effect: there were differences in sex about the hospitalization expenses(t=2.454,p=0.015). There were differences in occupation about the hospitalization expenses(F=4.800,p=0.003). There were differences in degree of education about the hospitalization expenses(F=7.346,p=0.001). There were differences in the single or multiple site damage about the hospitalization expenses(t=3.106,p=0.003). There were differences in the kind of wound about the hospitalization expenses(t=3.074,p=0.002). There were differences in age about the length of hospital stay(F=6.997,p=0.001). There were differences in occupation about the length of hospital stay(F=3.927,p=0.009). There were differences in degree of education about the length of hospital stay(F=3.842,p=0.022). There were differences in the single or multiple site damage about the length of hospital stay(t=2.107,p=0.038). There were differences in the kind of wound about the length of hospital stay(F=6.144,p=0.002). There were differences in the category of wound about the length of hospital stay(t=-2.307,p=0.022).Conclusion: 1. The patients primarily were male in age group of 25 to 49 years old, workers as well as people graduating from junior high schools. 2. the number of people injured first finger were the most. Open injury, single-site injury, dominant hand and cutting injury respectively accounted for the highest proportion of the patients. 3. Occupation, age and sex are the factors of injury condition. 4.Sex, age, occupation, degree of education, the kind of wound and the single or multiple site damage are the factors of treatment effect. 5. Age, occupation, degree of education, the kind of wound, the category of wound and the single or multiple site damage are the factors of treatment effect.
