| Objective: To study the affect of PGE2,MDA and SOD of Panax notoginseng saponins injection in rat skeletal muscles after acute contusion, and discuss the pain release effect of Panax notoginseng saponins injection in skeletal muscles injuries.Participants and Methods: 108 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups: 1.Group A,drug therapy group,36 rats; 2.Group B, physiological saline group,36 rats; 3.Group C,blank group,36 rats. The right gastrocnemius of 72 rats in group A and group B were contused artificially, and the 36 rats in group C did no special treatment. Rats in group A were injected the Panax notoginseng saponins while rats in group B injected the physiological saline every two days.The blood and muscle of the rats in A and B group were sampled at the day 1,4,7,14,28 and 42 after injury respectively. And the group C was sampled in day 1,4,7,14,28 and 42.Investigate the parameter of the PGE2, MDA and SOD.Results:1.The result of PGE2 test display that on the day 7 and 14,the level of group A was distinctly lower than group B, which exists significant difference(p<0.05).2. The result of MDA test shows that,on the day 1,4,and 42,the muscle MDA content of group A was distinctly lower than group B,which exists significant difference(p<0.05). 3. The result of SOD test shows that on the day 4, the activity of SOD of group A was distinctly higher than group B, which exists significant difference(p< 0.05).Conclusion: 1. Panax notoginseng saponins can decrease the PGE2 level of rats with acute contusion on skeletal muscle as a result of reducing pain. 2. Panax notoginseng saponins can control the level of peroxidation caused by the acute contusion o nskeletal muscles, accelerate the speed of oxygen free radicals' remove by the way of increasing the activity of SOD,so as to accelerate the realease of pain. |
