Objective:The purpose of this clinical study is to observe the efficiency of tooth movement with the domestic clear aligners by digital measurement of 3d model,and to analyze the factors affecting the invisible orthodontic treatment and the correlation between the factors and efficiency.In order to guide the clinical application of the clear aligner to provides guidance in the process of optimization correction.Methods: The study sample included 7 patients treated with domestic clear aligners made by Angelalign Company.A total of one hundred and twenty-eight teeth,exclusion of patients with oral cavity tooth loss,severe tooth wear.Using the tomography to obtain the initial model date,the actual correction model data and target model data after diagnosis and treatment.After the registration by Geomagic reverse engineering software,the target and actual displacement of each tooth and the amount of change of the angle of inclination,torque and rotation were measured in the same coordinate system.The data were collected and analyzed by SPSS18.0 software,to evaluated the efficiency of teeth movement in use of domestic clear aligner in three dimension.Results :(1)There was a significant difference between the design displacement and the actual displacement of the 128 teeth(P<0.05).(2)The efficiency of tooth movement in the buccal,lingual,mesial,distal,extraction and intrusion movement was about 56%-77%.The efficiency of intrusion was the lowest and the efficiency of teeth movement on distal was the highest,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)the efficiency of angular variation in inclination(?),torque(?)and rotation angle(?)was between 52%-66%.The rotation efficiency is less than the inclination and torque movement efficiency,wich was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)There was a correlation between the correction efficiency of axial tilt and the therapeutic efficiency of Y(bumesial,distal);There was correlation between torque correction and X(buccal tongue)correction efficiency(P <0.05).There was no correlation between rotational efficiency and X(buccal tongue)?Y(bumesial,distal)and Z(vertical)(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)The actual displacement of the tooth in the three-dimensional direction is less than the target displacement when the domestic clear aligner is used for orthodontic correction.(2)In translational and rotation movement of teeth correction,domestic clear aligners have a low correction efficiency in intrusion and rotational movement.(3)there is a consistency between the movement of distal-mesial and the control force of the inclination angle,and between the movement of buccal-linguathe and tongue control force.
