Objective:By comparing warm water foot bath and traditional Chinese medicine foot bath, the motor function and muscle strength of the upper and lower extremities,TCM syndrome score and blood pressure of ischemic stroke patients, which aims to explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine foot bath on the rehabilitation of limb dysfunction in stroke patients. The purpose of this study is to find a safe, effective and well tolerated rehabilitation therapy for patients with ischemic stroke lower extremity dysfunction;and is to provide a reference to further broaden the application of Chinese medicine foot bath.Methods:170 patients with acute ischemic stroke were randomly divided into Chinese medicine foot bath group and warm water foot bath group with 85 cases each. Both groups received routine medication and routine care for ischemic stroke.Chinese medicine foot bath group for Chinese medicine foot bath, once a day, each time 20min,7 days a course of treatment,a total of two courses;warm water foot bath group warm water foot bath, with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath group. The simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scale(FMA),muscle strength rating,"wind phlegm and blood stasis" type of stroke of TCM syndromes in patients with quantitative classification table compared two groups of patients with ipsilateral upper and lower limb motor function, ipsilateral upper and lower limbs, blood pressure and TCM symptoms improve the situation.Results:(1)Comparison of general data:There was no significant difference in gender, age, economy, stroke score(NIHSS)score, course of disease and hemiplegic limb between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)within the group before and after their comparison:1)There was no significant difference between the FMA score and the FMA score of the lower extremity(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2)However,after 2 weeks of intervention and 1 week after intervention, the rats in the control group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P>0.05).The upper and lower limb muscle strength of the lower extremity was higher than that before the intervention, but the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3)There was significant difference between the control group and the control group(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of intervention, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)after 1 week and 2 weeks after intervention(P<0.05).4)The mean systolic blood pressure(mean systolic blood pressure)and mean blood pressure(2 weeks)were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the blood pressure after 1 week was significantly lower than that before the intervention(P<0.05).(3)Comparison between the two groups after intervention:1)After 1 week of intervention and 2 weeks after the intervention, the FMA score of the lower extremity of the test group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2)After 2 weeks of intervention and 2 weeks after the intervention, the lower extremity muscle strength was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3)However,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant(P>0.05).4)There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups after 2 weeks(P<0.05).5)After 1 week of intervention and 2 weeks after the intervention, the scores of TCM syndromes were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).6)After 1 week of intervention and 2 weeks after the intervention, the mean blood pressure of the experimental group was significantly different from that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Traditional Chinese medicine foot bath method can promote the recovery of upper and lower limbs dysfunction in the affected side of ischemic stroke patients. And the treatment is beneficial for increasing the muscle strength of the upper and lower limbs of the affected side, improving TCM symptoms, stable blood pressure. The curative effect of Chinese medicine foot bath method is accurate, and it is a simple, safe TCM operation,It can be used in ischemic stroke limb dysfunction recovery.
