Acute myeloid leukemia is a malignancy in which white blood cells grow abnormally and accumulate, resulting in the interference of normal blood cell growth. So far,the mechanism of chronic myelogenous leukemia(CML)transforming into acute myeloid leukemia(AML)is still unclear.Studies have shown that myelomonocytic differentiation along the hierarchy of normal hematopoiesis is critical for Leukemic Stem Cells(LSCs)formation and leukemia development. In this study,we found that-long non-coding RNA FAM30A is up-regulated in the accelerated phase and blast crisis and down-regulated in the chronic phase of the CML.Furthermore,FAM30A expression was associated with overall survival in patients with AML.In addition,FAM30A showed a significant difference in the differentiation of normal hematopoietic system. Our results show that FAM30A can be used as a prognostic factor in AML,and its differential expression in the process of acute myeloid leukemia will be an important and target to further study the pathogenesis of AML.
