Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of contralateral needling combined with rehabilitation therapy training on spastic paralysis of the upper limb after stroke. Method:60 patients with upper limb spasticity after cerebra apoplexy were divided into two groups on the random:the control group and the treatment group.Every group has 30 patients.Treatment and control groups on the basis of conventional therapy, the control group received rehabilitation training, the treatment group received contralateral needling combined with rehabilitation. Selection of acupoints on the contralateral side.Select the main points of acupuncture Jianyu(LI 15), Quchi(LI 11), Waiguan(TE 5), Xuehai(SP 10), Hegu(LI 4),Zusanli (ST 36) and Yanglingquan(GB 34). Treatment once a day, five times weekly treatment, rest for two days, surrounded by a course of treatment, were treated with three courses. Before treatment,4 weeks,8 weeks,12 weeks,4 weeks and 12 weeks, respectively, for the subject spasm evaluated after treatment. Spasticity using the modified scale Ashworth (MAS) assessed spasticity, BI index to evaluate the activities of daily living subject.Result:(1) The baselines of the two groups showed on statistical differences(P<0.05).(2)Spasticity:The results of MAS of the upper limbs were significantly improved at 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks during the treatment,4 weeks and 12 weeks after the treatment(.P<0.05).Compared with two groups the result of MAS were significantly improved at each time points(P<0.05).(3)BI index:The results of BI index were significantly improved at 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks during the treatment,4 weeks and 12 weeks after the treatment(P<0.05).Compared with two groups the result of BI index were significantly improved at each time points(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both two groups can relieve spasticity and improve the activities of daily living. The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. Limited sample size, the need to further expand the sample size to be confirmed.
