and drug group rats were first increased and then decreased. Compared with control group,in addition to 1d, the expression of ? collagens in the lung tissue of silica group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Compared with silica group, the expression of ? collagens in the lung tissue of drug group was significantly less than that in the silica group at 7, 14, 28, 42 and 56d(P<0.05). 4 The content of HYP in the lung tissue of silica and drug group rats were increased in a time-dependent manner.Compared with silica group, in addition to 1, 3d, the expression of HYP in the lung tissue of drug group were significantly less than that in the silica group(P<0.05). In addition to1, 3d, the expression of HYP in the lung tissue of drug group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Compared with control group, in addition to 1, 3d,the expression of HYP in the lung tissue of silica group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). 5 Ink-silver nitrate perfusion method, observation of lymphatic hyperplasia in silicosis rats' lung tissue showed that lymphatic hyperplasia was not found in normal control group but detected around the lung blood vessel in silicosis group and drug group. 6 The content of VEGFR-3 in the lung tissue of silica and drug group rats were first increased and then decresed. Compared with silica group, the expression of VEGFR-3 in the lung tissue of drug group was significantly more than that in the silica group at 7, 14, 28, 42 and 56d(P<0.05). 7 The lymph and serum levels of silica in silica and drug group were first increased and then decreased. Compared with control group, The lymph and serum levels of silica in the lung tissue of silica group at each time point was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).Compared with silica group, the lymph and serum levels of silica in the lung tissue of drug group at each time point was significantly more than that in the silica group(P<0.05). 8 In the late stage of pulmonary fiborsis, the silica levels of lymph and serum had negatively correlated with the level of hydroxyproline, the levels of VEGFR-3 had negatively correlated with the level of HYP and the silica levels of lymph and serum had positivel correlated with the level of VEGFR-3.Conclusion 1 Lymphatic hyperplasia was existed in the pulmonary parenchyma in the earlier stage of process of pulmonary fibrosis in silicotic rats model and gradually decreased in the late stage of fibrosis. In the same time, the silica levels of lymph and serum decreased and HYP content increased and pulmonary fibrosis is aggravating, which means the ability of silicon discharge were reduced. Our results indicated that the lymphatic vessel may be the main channel of silicion discharge from pulmonary mesenchyme. The lymphangiogenesis not only promoted the silicon discharge but also involved in the process of silicosis fibrosis. 2 We treated the silicosis rats with traditional Chinese medicine-Ginkgo biloba. The results showed that VEGFR-3 and silicon content were increased significantly, which suggested the traditional Chinese medicine treatment promoted lymphangiogenesis and improved the ability of silicon discharge. The treatment inhibited the progression of fibrosis and may be an effective means on the silicosis treatment in the future.
