Objective The aim of this research was to evaluate the significance of Cripto-1 which play an role in morbidly adherent placenta.MethodsAll 60 cases are admitted to Fu Jian Maternity and Child Health Hospital,pregnancies who under cesarean section from January 2015 to November2015.They are divided into placenta accreta group(n=10),placenta previa group(n=20)and control group(n=30).In the placenta accreta group,we divided placenta into lesion area zone and the edge of lesion zone. placenta previa group and control group divided into placenta central zone and the edge of lower placenta zone. The expression of Cripto-1 at m RNA level was detected by real time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR), and western-blot was used to examine at protein level.One-Way ANOVA,Independent-Samples T test or Wilcoxon signed-rank test or Kruskal Wallis Test were used for statistical analysis.Results1.placenta accreta group have longer length of stay,more hospital cost and much more intraoperative hemorrhage,compared with control group,the MAP group have smaller delivery gestational age,lighter placenta weight and newborn birth weight compared with control group.2.RT-PCR and western-blot revealed that:the level of Cripto-1 expression was significantly higher in MAP than control group,and PA group was higher than PP group,in PA group Cripto-1 expression was higher in accrate site than no accrate site.3.Level of Cripto-1 expression in placenta increta had a higher trend than placenta accreta.Conclusion1.Data of this study suggest that Cripto-1 play an important role in morbidly adherent placenta,the up regulated Cripto-1 level can increase the ability invasion of extravillous trophoblast cells and may be responsible for abnormal vascular remodeling process.2.Uterine decidua may involves in the upregulate of Cripto-1 expression.
