ObjectiveTo compare the short-term and long-term curative effect between laparoscopic liver resection and open liver resection for the hepatocellular carcinoma.MethodSelect 30 patients of laparoscopic liver resection for the hepatocellular carcinoma who were operated in Fujian Provincial Hospital between 2009.01.01 and 2015.01.01. Altogether 30 matched sets who were undergone open liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma with Paired 1:1 design 30 patients were compare with those 30 patients of open liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor location, size, age, the degree of liver cirrhosis, liver function, hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus infection and advocate knife doctor during the same period in our hospital. Compare with the operation time, intraoperative bleeding loss, postoperative hospitalization days, postoperative complications rate, recurrence rate, the overall recurrence rate, no tumor survival and overall survival between two groups.ResultThere was no statistically significant differences in the operation time, 1-year recurrence rate, overall recurrence rate, no tumor survival and overall survival between two group. But compare to OLR group, LLR group was better in intraoperative bleeding loss, postoperative hospitalization days and postoperative complications rate, the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05).For some selected case with hepatocellular carcinoma, compare to open liver resection, laparoscopic liver resection may be better in less intraoperative bleeding loss, shorter postoperative hospitalization time and the lower postoperative complication rate; Also the long-term curative effect of laparoscopic liver resection was the same with open liver resection in long-term outcome. Laparoscopic liver resection is a new operation style with little operative trauma, fast postoperative recovery and the safety for hepatocellular carcinoma. Laparoscopic liver resection should be promoted in clinical with its important application value.
