Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC), as one of most common malignant tumors, harms people's health and safety. Therefore, it is particularly important to explore the biology mechanism of hepatocellular carnoma on proliferation, invasion and metastasis. This experiment is to explore TRPV3 expression in the liver tumors and its relationship with the development of liver cancer. Methods:Pathological samples and clinical data were collected from August 2010 to September 2015, who underwent liver operation at the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University. TRPV3 expression in different liver dieases was assessed by immunohistochemical, and SPSS was used to explore its relationship with clinical parameters.Results:97 cases of pathological samples were assessed by immunohistochemical, in which included 63 cases of liver cirrhosis, high or medium expression accounted for71.4%(45/63); 15 cases of HCC, high or medium expression accounted for 60%(9/15);17 cases of liver hemangioma, high or medium expression accounted for 17.6%(3/17). It showed that no statistical significance in the relationship between TRPV3 expression in HCC and TRPV3 expression in liver cirrhosis(P=0.582). TRPV3 expression in HCC and liver hemangioma exits a significant difference(P=0.027). There is a statisticallysignificance in TRPV3 expression between liver hemagioma and liver cirrhosis(P <0.001). 58 cases of clinical data were collected, suggesting TRPV3 having no obviously correlation with tumor size, differentiation, patients' age, gender, BMI.Conclusion:TRPV3 has a different degree of expression in liver hemangioma, liver cirrhosis and HCC. And there is a statistically significant difference in liver benign and malignant tumors. High expression of TRPV3 may advance the development of liver cancer. In the future, by inhibiting the expression of TRPV3 may prevent the happening and development of liver cirrhosis and liver cancer. However, more pathological samples and gene study need to identify the role of TRPV3 playing in the development of HCC.
