Iatrogenic Adverse Events In The Elderly And Related Literature Review

Iatrogenic adverse event(IDE) exist generally in our daily medical processes and it is an inevitable problem for every medical health workers. C hina is entering an aging society. Meanwhile, there will be more problems of elderly and we should pay attention to this situation. The elderly is easier to get iatrogenic adverse event, because the features of their own. Moreover, it would be more serious when IAD happens in elder group. This article will explains and classifies iatrogenic adverse event in two types, in the meantime, discuss the connection between the elderly and IDE. The final goal is help health workers to get a better understand of IDE, and to reduce the incidence and mortality of IDE.
