Objectives To analyze the relationship of job strain and hypertension,And it is to provide a scientific theoretical basis for prevention of hypertension among steel workers in this study. Methods 5535 steel workers were selected as subjects in a certain steel and iron group from September 2014 to September 2015.The basic information of steel worker, such as sociodemographic characteristics, behavior habit and occupational history were investigated by the steel workers health questionnaire.Besides,Occupational stress was messured by Chinese version of Job content questionnaire. The database was established by Epi Data3.1 software, and the data was analyzed by SPSS22.0.The binary classification Logistic regression analysis was used to analyse the effect of occupational stress factors on steel workers' blood pressure. Results 1 the prevalence rate in low group of psychological demand was higher than that in high group of psychological demand(32.93% vs 29.76%,P<0.05),the prevalence rate in low group of decision latitude was higher than that in high group of decision latitude(33.23% vs 29.74%,P<0.05).However,job strain and social support were not related to hypertension.2 Stratified by gender, the prevalence rate of job strain group in male workers was higher than that of control group(27.09% vs 24.85,P>0.05),whereas the prevalence rate of job strain group in female workers was lower than that of control group(29.70 % vs 30.18,P>0.05);Stratified by woking-hours,the prevalence rate of job strain group in those who had engaged less than 20 years, was higher than that of control group job strain group(38.86%vs 38.58%,P>0.05),and the prevalence rate of job strain group in those who had engaged more than 20 years, was higher than that of control group job strain group(25.59% vs23.54%,P>0.05);3 After adjustment for factors including age, noise, job strain wasn't associated with hypertension among steel workers.odds ratio was 1.03 and confidence interval was(0.90,1.16).But social support was the influence factors of hypertension, odds ratio was0.85 and confidence interval was(0.74,0.98);After adjustment for factors including age, noise, job strain wasn't associated with abnormal systolic pressure among steel workers.odds ratio was 1.05 and confidence interval was(0.91,1.23).But social support was the influence factors of abnormal systolic pressure, odds ratio was 0.81 and confidence interval was(0.68,0.96);After adjustment for factors including age, noise, job strain wasn't associated with abnormal diastolic pressure among steel workers.odds ratio was 1.03 and confidence interval was(0.91,1.16).But social support was the influence factors of abnormal diastolic pressure, odds ratio was 0.75 and confidence interval was(0.64,0.88);4 After adjustment for factors including age, noise, psychological demand, decision latitude, and social support was respectively the influence factors of hypertension, odds ratio was respectively 0.77,0.80 and 0.80.And confidence interval was(0.68,0.87),(0.70,0.91),and(0.69,0.92).Conclusion Job strain wasn't associated with steel worker's hypertension, whereas psychological demand, decision latitude and social support were associated with steel worker's hypertension.
