Objective:To investigate the Correlation between the Level of Tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis (TWEAK) and the Contrast-induced phropathy(CIN).Methods:Clinical data were collected from 400 patients undergoing coronary angiography, before the coronary angiography, the patients arterial blood samples were collected, then test the level of TWEAK in arterial blood samples. According to the pre-operative level of tweak, from low to high, patients were divided into three groups,134patients in group A(<450pg/ml),133patients in group B(?450pg/ml,<550pg/ml),133patients in group C(?550pg/ml). Comparison difference between the three groups of baseline data and incidence of CIN.Results:The incidence of CIN was 8.2%(11/134) in group A,13.5%(18/133) in group B,18% (24/133) in group C. The higher the level of TWEAK, the higher the incidence of CIN (P<0.05). Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that, after adjusted for age, low left ventricular ejection fraction, diabetes mellitus, eGFR, risk of post-operative CIN was significantly higher in group C than in group A(OR=1.45,95%CI 1.12-2.64, P<0.01).Conclusion:The level of TWEAK have significant correlation with the incidence of CIN, pre-operative elevated tweak is independent risk factor of CIN in patients undergoing coronary angiography.
