Clinical Study Of Sitong Capsule In Treating The Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Of The Lower Limb

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Sitong Capsule in treating the deep vein thrombosis(DVT) of the lower limb and to discuss the mechanism of this therapy.Methods: In according with the inclusion criteria,60 caseswere randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group.The urokinase, low-molecular-weight heparins calcium injection, salvia decoction and decoction of Traditional Chinese Medicine were used in both groups. Sitong Capsule was used to the cases of the treatment group.While Xuesaitong tablet was used to the cases of the control group.The changes of clinical efficacy, the total score of TCM syndrome, limb circumference difference, D- dimer, fibrinogen and vein patency rate of the two groups were observed before and after the treatment.Results: After the treatment,we found that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%,while the control group was 73.33%. The total scores after the treatment of TCM syndrome, limb circumference difference, D- dimer(15days and 30days), fibrinogen, vein patency rate of the two groups were all significantly lower than before(P<0.01). Compared with the control group,after the treatment there were predominant differences in the treatment group in all the items scores(P<0.05).Conclusion: Sitong Capsule can effectively treat the patients who are in deep vein thrombosis(DVT) of the lower limb. It can improve the clinical symptoms,such as the pain and swelling in the lower limb which has deep vein thrombosis(DVT). And it also can promote venous recanalization.We can benefit it from that has no clinical adverse reactions, reliability and safety. So Sitong Capsule can widely be used in clinical application.
