The Effect Of Ozonization Saline On Chronic Neuropathic Pain

Objective To investigate the effect of ozonization saline intravenous injection on the neuropathic pain.Methods Male SD rats, weight from 180 to 250 g, were randomly divided into three groups, i.e. ozone group, model group and sham group(n=20),respectively. The sham group was treated with CCI surgery except constricted the right-side sciatic nerve.The model groupwere treated with CCI surgery.The rats in ozone group were underwent CCI surgery and were injected by ozonization saline(40?g/m L,5 m L/kg) by intravenous injection for 21 d. The rats in other groups were injected with equivalent saline(5 m L/kg) for 21 d.The right and left-paw PWTL and PWMT-value were recorded at 1d before surgery and 1 d, 3 d, 5 d, 7 d, 11 d, 14 d and 21 d after surgery.Results 1: Compared with the sham group, the Right-PWMT values in model group at 3 d, 5 d,7 d,11 d,14 d and 21 d after surgery(P<0.05) and the Left-PWMT values at 3 d, 5 d,7 d,11 d,14 d and 21 d after surgery(P<0.05)were significantly decreased. The Right-PWTL values of ozone group at 3 d, 5d,7 d,11 d,14 d and 21 d after surgery(P<0.05) and the Left-PWTL values at3 d, 5 d,7 d,11 d,14 d and 21 d after surgery(P<0.05) were significantly decreased.2:Compared with the model group, the Right-PWMT values of ozone groupwere significantly increased at 5 d,11 d,14 d and 21 d after surgery(P<0.05)and the same trend was observed in the left side at 3 d, 11 d, 14 d and 21 d after surgery(P < 0.05). The Right PWTL-values of ozone group were significantly prolonged at 5 d, 7 d, 11 d and 14 d after surgery(P<0.05) and the left PWTL-values were significantly prolonged at at 3 d, 5 d, 11 d and 14 d after surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion Ozonization saline by tail intravenous injection inhibits the neuropathic pain in CCI rats model.
