Objective:To study the expression of miR-21 and TGF-?1 in chronic heart failure of coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods:Between January 2013 and December 2014, 96 patients with chronic heart failure in Loudi central hospital of Hunan province were selected as the observation group, including 52 males and 44 females, aged 53-85 years(on the average of 65.2±16.2 years). All patients involved in the study have signed a written informed consent. According to the New York Heart Association(NYHA) heart function classification: 22 cases of grade ? heart function, heart function class ? in 42 cases and 32 cases with cardiac function of grade ?, another 40 cases in the control group, 22 cases were male, 18 female patients, aged 52-79(64.5±15.3 years), for the same period the health clinic cadres, no hypertension, coronary heart disease and other underlying heart disease history, family history, ECG in the normal range, echocardiography graph examination proved to be no structural changes to the heart of sex and age matched healthy people. PCR Real-Time method was used to detect the expression of miR-21 in peripheral blood and the serum level of TGF- beta 1 was detected by ELISA method. Results:1. MiR-21?TGF-?1 level in the observation group was significantly higher than the normal control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.MiR-21, TGF-?1 level was significantly increased,in cardiac function ? group, ? group, grade ? group and increased with the aggravation of heart failure3.miR – 21 and TGF-?1 levels are positively correlated with NT- pro BNP level. The level of cardiac function ? group was significantly higher than that of ? group, ? group, the level of cardiac function ? group was higher than that of ? group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)3.MiR-21, TGF-?1 levels were positively correlated with NT-pro BNP levels. Conclusions:1.The expression level of miR-21, TGF-?1 was significantly increased in patients with coronary heart disease and chronic heart failure,2.The expression level of miR-21, TGF-?1 was positively correlated with the severity of chronic heart failure.
