Objectives: to assess hip flexor and extensor strength of patients with muscule mulfunction surrounding hip joints caused by Ankylosing spondylitis through isokinetic muscle strenght test system under different conditions and try to find the mechanisms of the effect of the traditional chinese manipulation on the Ankylosing spondylitis.Methods: there are totally 60 people in the 3 research groups,including 20 healthy people,40 patients with muscules mulfunction surrounding hip joints caused by acconpanying Ankylosing spondylitis.The 40 patients are randomly divided into two groups,20 people are in Group A(treatmeat Group)for the Traditional Chinese manipulation and other 20 people are in Group B(contral Group)for Routine group,the rest 20 healthy people are in Group C(blank control Group).Before the treatment of the 1st day and the 21 st day,to proccel ESR,CRP testing.the isokinetic muscle strength of the three Groups were tested and recorded through Germany Isomed 2000 Isokinetic Muscle Test System(Group C does not take part in the test,only take part in the daily activities): under the angular velocity of 60 degrees/s and 120 degrees/s,the peak torque,peak torque to body weight,total work and average power were observed and recorded.For those patients,symptoms have been found in bilateral hips,only the data of the right hip was recorded.All the data was analyzed by SPSS 18.0: the differences of measurement data were compared with the analysis of variance.Qualitative data is expressed percentage.Results: before the treatment,significant differences were found between Group A and Group C,group B and group C in terms of the isokinetic muscle strength of hip extensor and flexor(P<0.05).Before the 21 st day treatment,improvement were found in the isokinetic muscle strength of hip extensor and flexor of group A and group B,including peak torque,peak torque to body weight,total work,average power.The significant differences were found before and after the treatment in the above parameters(P<0.05).Under the angular velocity of 60 degrees/s,the peak torque,peak torque to body weight,total work,average power of Group A were higher than those of group B(P<0.05);Under the angular velocity of 120 degrees/s,Group A compared with the B group,there was no difference between(P>0.05)The ESR and CRP experimental results using percentage said.Positive rate of type A,B two groups after treatment than before treatment.Negative rate after treatment to improve the degree of A > B,CRP mutation rate is greater than the variation rate of CRP.Conclusions: Traditional Chinese manipulation can improve peak torque,peak torque to body weight,total work,average power,Improve the ESR and CRP negative rate,and can improve hip muscles function of patients with mulfunction surrounding hip joints caused by accompanying Ankylosing spondylitis and reduce disability rate. |
