Objective: We uesd computer tomography(CT) and ultrasound(US) to diagnosis of the stage(benign and malignant) of ovarian cystic and solid cystic tumor, and performed comparative analysis of advantages and disadvantages of these two inspection methods in the application. The results of this reserch can to guide clinical to choose better and reasonable diagnosis method. Methods: The complete cases and imaging datas of 139 patients with ovarian cystic or solid cystic tumor diagnosed by pathology after surgery, who were admitted into Chenzhou First People's Hospital Affiliated Nanhua University of department of gynaecology from August 2012 to 2015 were included. Those selected for the study patients have been accepted CT and US in a week before surgery, and have the detailed record check. The pathologic diagnosis in surgery was as gold standard, which divided the all cases into benign and malignant tumor group, and Chi-square test was used to compare the difference between CT and US in the benign and malignant diagnosis of ovarian cystic and solid cystic tumor. Results: In all 139 ovarian cystic or solid cystic tumor, CT and US qualitatively diagnosed 130 cases and 115 cases, respectively. so the sensitivity of qualitatively diagnosis were 93.5% and 82.7%, respeively. The two diagnosis methods comparative difference was statistically significant(p=0.02). In 96 patients with benign tumor group, CT qualitatively diagnosed 90 cases, so the sensitivity and specificity of 93.8% and 93.0% respectively. US diagnosed 84 cases, so the sensitivity and specificity of 87.5% and 72.1% respectively, whose difference had no statistical significance(p=0.109). In 43 patients with malignant tumor group,CT can show 40 tumour campared with 31 tumour diagnosed using US, so CT diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of 93.0% and 93.8% respectively, US diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of 72.1% and 87.5% respectively, whose difference had statistical significance(p=0.022). The accuracies of CT in the dignosis malignant tumors indirect features, such as violations of the surrounding tissue, lymph node metastasis and the abdominal cavity, mesentery or omentum cultivation, were 76.7%, 88.4% and 79.1% respectively. While the accuracies of US were 53.4%, 67.4% and 55.8% respectively. The former were higher than the later, whose difference had statistical significance(p were 0.022, 0.021 and 0.031). To dignosis whether the presence of ascites, the accuracy of CT and US were 95.3%, 90.1%. This difference had no statistical significance(p=0.500).Conclusion: Application of CT and US on ovarian cystic and solid cystic tumor benign and malignant diagnosis, the sensitivity and specificity of CT both higher than US, especially for the diagnosis of the malignant tumor in adjacent organs or surrounding tissue invasion, lymph node metastasis, etc.
