Objectives : Based on the analysis of relevant literature about antimicrobial agents use in children, combining with the empirical analysis of a children's hospital antimicrobial agents use, we are aim to discuss the effects of antimicrobial agents guidelines on antimicrobial agents use in children; Comparing measures of antimicrobial agents use in children between domestic and foreign countries, we hope propose some measures and provide references for the rational use of antimicrobial agents in children.Contents and methods :(1) With the index words of "baby", "children", "child", "pediatrics", "antimicrobial", "antibiotics", we searched in CNKI database, Wan fang database, Chinese VIP database to know the basic state of antimicrobial agents use in children from 2011 to 2015 in China, and compared the data with relative requirements of our nation.(2) The data of a children's hospital antimicrobial agents use from 2011 to 2015 were analyzed to know the basic state of antimicrobial agents use in children, then we compared the data with relative requirements of this province, analyzed if the policy had effects on antimicrobial agents use in children, found the limitations of policies.(3) By comparing the countermeasures on antimicrobial agents use in children between domestic and foreign, we want to propose relative suggestions and countermeasures according to the present situation of our country, and provide references for rational use of antimicrobial agents in children.Results:(1) Literature analysis results showed that the rate range of antimicrobial agents use in children in our country was from 3.00% to 100.00%, and the literature proportion which didn't meet the requirements was 71.05%. The rate range of antibacterial agents use in outpatient and inpatient was from 3.00% to 92.00% and from 23.67% to 100.00%, and the literature proportion which didn't meet the requirements was 83.05% and 88.24%. The irrational rate range of antimicrobial agents use in children was 1.20% to 78.00%.(2) Empirical analysis results show that compliance rate of the children's hospital inpatients antimicrobial agents use rate was 33.33%(15/51), the compliance rate of antimicrobial agents use intensity was 5.88%(3/51), the compliance rate of proportion of outpatient antimicrobial prescription was 74.51%(38/51), and the compliance rate of proportion of emergency patients antimicrobial prescription was 31.37%(16/51).(3) Comparing to some foreign developed countries, standardized countermeasures of antimicrobial agents use in children in our country was later, and there were some limitations in management and punishment.Conclusions:1. The proportion which didn't meet the requirements in antimicrobial agents use rate, antibacterial agents use rate in outpatient and inpatient was higher. It showed that in our country had more medical institutions which were irrational in antimicrobial agents usage. 2. The relative policies effectively regulated the antimicrobial agents use in the Children's Hospital, but because of the low effectiveness in the implementation and supervision, it still didn't meet the requirements. So government and medical institutions need work together in promoting the standardized use of antimicrobial agents in children. 3. Comparing to the developed countries, the management, punishment and inadequate health education of our country was insufficient. Therefore, the national government, medical institutions, pediatricians and parents need work together to promote the standardized use of antimicrobial agents in children.
