Objective1?To evaluate the clinical application value of susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) for Hemorrhagic lesions in full-term neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).2?To evaluate the clinical application value of diffusion weighted imaging (DWI)in full-term neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).3?To evaluate the clinical application value of susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) and diffusion weighted imaging(DWI)in full-term neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).MethodSixty-three neonates with HIE were collected and scanned by Siemens 3.0T superconducting MR scanner (axial T1WI?axial T2WI?axial T2 Flair?sagittal TIWI) Routine axial conventional MRI scan and axial SWI?axial DWI scan were conducted.Results1?In 63 neonates, SWI check a total of 29 cases with different degree of intracranial hemorrhage, A total of 151 intracranial hemorrhages were detected. Conventional MRI sequences detected in 15 cases with different degree of intracranial hemorrhage. SWI were significantly superior to conventional MRI sequences in displaying the scope and boundary definition of hemorrhage.2?In 63 neonates, DWI check a total of 30 cases, A total of 120 Lesions were detected, The detection rate of HIE lesions were higher on DWI when compared with that of conventional MRI.3?In 63 neonates,52 positive neonates were detected. SWI in combination with DWI check A total of 50 cases, the detection of routine MRI? DWI?SWI respectively founded 28,30,33 cases; found lesions in 24 cases by totally depending on a single sequence detection, including 2 cases in MRI,10 cases in DWI,12 cases SWI; 5 cases were found by commonly using routine MRI, DWI, SWI dection.A total of 171 Lesions were detected, Only 78,43,88,120 and 158 Lesions were found by TIWI?T2WI?T2 Flair?DWI?SWI sequences, The detection rate of HIE lesions were higher on SWI and DWI when compared with that of conventional MRI.Conclusions1?SWI was obviously better than the conventional MRI sequences in bleeding detection and displaying hemorrhage stove, and provide the powerful imaging basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.2?DWI was helpful to improve the detection rate of HIE,and provide the powerful imaging basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.3?SWI in combination with DWI was helpful to improve the detection rate of HIE, and provide the powerful imaging basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.
