Medical extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy,because of the advantages of its relatively safety,minimal trauma,low cost and good treatment,is becoming the standard method for treating urinary calculus.It will be an inevitable trend.The adverse reactions in the surgery and the incidence of side effects after surgery have a lot to do with the quality and performance of the shock wave generator.But physical parameters of the shock wave lack of a recognized,accurate and reliable standard.While the parameters of the shock wave have been accurately measured,but relationship between parameters of the shock wave and clinical effect has not been established.In particular,it lacks both standard methods and equipment for extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter in China.Therefore,a device of measurement is specially achieved for ESWL.The content of this article is as follows:First,introduce some common extracorporeal shock wave lithotripters,and their respective principle of gravel.Also introduce measurement methods of ESWL,the factors which affect therapeutic effect,and parameters of shock wave which may cause the side effects and intraoperative or postoperative adverse reactions.At the same time,the use of hydrophones working on principle of measurement of shock wave parameters is introduced.Secondly,the design and parts selection of the Device of measurement for ESWL are introduced.Hardware design including: 1)the three dimensional motion control device design,which is used to implement movement of the hydrophone in three dimensional motion and accurately locate in three dimensional space;2)the design of the fixed bracket,which is used to support the the three dimensional motion control device,to ensure the positioning precision of the hydrophone;3)data collection and analysis system design,which is used for data collection and analysis of shock wave.Again,introduce the software development.Use C++ language and modular design method for the design of software.Software is divided into hydrophone displacement and positioning module,the shock wave data acquisition module.It implements the measurement of focus and focus area automatically.It completes the measurement of ESWL.Finally,complete the relevant experiments and tests.Complete the focus and the focus area measurement.Extract the collection of raw data to rebuild acoustic field,compared with test results,verify the availability of the device.Trough 10 consecutive times of "focus measurement",verify reproducibility of the device.Using Kirchhoff integral to the simulation of the acoustic field along the z axis,compared with data from the ESWL,the accuracy of the device is verified.
