Magnesium alloy attracts the attention of scholars because of its good mechanical and biodegradable properties. Medical Magnesium alloy applied to the field of bone fracture plate which replaces the original non degradable metal materials will effectively avoid the secondary damage caused by removing the plate after recovery. This thesis made a scientific research on the cutting performance of Mg Ca0.8 material and the processing technology of bone fracture plate.Bone fracture plate used in the clinical application has strict requirements on the surface quality. In order to obtain high surface quality, a research has been done on the effect of milling parameters on the surface quality of Mg Ca0.8 material. By comparing, the keyway cutter that aiming at the cutting of Magnesium alloy has been chosen in this experiment. Meanwhile the reasonable milling method has been tested and determined. The shape and size of the specimen used in the experiment have been designed. Single factor test method has been used to obtain the cutting speed, feed rate and cutting depth parameter. After that, the optimal cutting parameters for plate processing have been determined.A research about the influence of Mg Ca0.8 vertical milling material parameters on cutting force has been done. During the test, Cutting test jig have been designed to match with Kistler9257 B dynamometer. Single-factor test has been used to obtain a rule of the influence on the change of the cutting speed, feed rate and cutting depth parameter. At the same time, simulation software(Third Wave Advant Edge) has been used to verify cutting simulation with the same parameters to provide a theoretical basis for the machining of late Mg Ca0.8 materials.In this paper, the processing technology of straight locking compression plate has been studied. The process of cutting tool has been selected, and the reasonable clamping scheme and technical route has been analyzed and determined. The processing fixture has been designed and produced. By using CNC machining centers and the preliminary experiments, the cutting parameters of the straight type locking compression plate of each working procedure and processing has been determined. Finally, after the standardized testing of the bone fracture plate, the monk problems and some points need to be improved existing in the process have been summarized.
