PurposeTo explore dysphoria and depression among sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and insomnia.MethodContinuously selecting 70 sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and insomnia in hospitalization department and policlinic department in neurology department of the Second Hospital Affixed to Nanchang University from May 2014 to December 2015 as experiment group,and recording general condition of age,gender,comorbidity diseases,etc.,and selecting 53 sufferers who were proved by PSG to have OSAHS yet no insomnia in hospitalization department and policlinic department as the control group 1,selecting 105 sufferers who were proved by PSG to have no OSAHS yet have insomnia as the control group 2.According to different insomnia types,the experiment group was divided into OSAHS+difficulty in falling asleep(OSAHS+DIS group),OSAHS+ difficulty in maintaining sleep(OSAHS+ DMS group)and OSAHS+difficulty in falling asleep+difficulty in maintaining sleep(OSAHS+DIS+DMS group).The control group 2 was divided into DIS group,DMS group and DIS+DMS group.Then scoring the three group against indicators of ESS,PQSI,SDS and SAS to compare whether there were differences in dysphoria and depression for sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and insomnia and sufferers of only OSAHS and only insomnia.Result:1.The incidence of dysphoria and depression in group of comorbidity of OSAHS and insomnia was higher than incidence of only OSAHS and only insomnia.The incidence of comorbidity group was 48.57%,incidence of dysphoria and depression in only OSAHS group was 41.51%,(P = 0.0436).The incidence of dysphoria and depression in insomnia group was 42.86%(P = 0.0457).2.Scores of ESS(P=0.05),PSQI(P<0.001),SDS(P=0.135),SAS(P=0.001)in sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and insomnia were higher than those of thesufferers of only OSAHS.The scores of ESS(P=0.001),PSQI(P=0.006),SDS(P=0.015),SAS(P=0.002)in sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and insomnia are higher than those of only insomnia sufferers.3.There were differences in incidences of dysphoria and depression in sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and different types of insomnia and sufferers of only different types of insomnia.The incidence of dysphoria and depression in OSAHS+DIS group was lower than that in DIS group,with 41.18% for comorbidity group,and44.90% for insomnia group(P = 0.0197).The incidence of dysphoria and depression in OSAHS+DMS group was higher than that of DMS group,with 53.66% for comorbidity group,and 38.90% for insomnia group(P = 0.0195).The incidence of dysphoria and depression in OSAHS+DIS+DMS group was lower than that of DIS+DMS group,with 41.64% for comorbidity group,and 45.00% for insomnia group(P>0.05).4.The scores of ESS(P=0.943)and SDS(P=0.902)in sufferers of OSAHS+ DIS were lower than those of sufferers of only DIS,but the scores of PSQI(P=0.771)and SAS(P=0.993)were higher than those of sufferers of only DIS;the scores of ESS(P=0.018),PSQI(P=0.011),SDS(P=0.019)and SAS(P=0.032)in sufferers of OSAHS+DMS were higher than those of sufferers of only DMS;the scores of ESS(P=0.022),PSQI(P=0.014),SDS(P=0.087)and SAS(P=0.008)in sufferers of OSAHS+DIS+DMS were higher than those of the sufferers of only DIS+DMS.ConclusionThe incidence of dysphoria and depression in sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and insomnia was significantly higher than that of the sufferers of only OSAHS and only insomnia.The life quality of sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and insomnia was lower than that of the sufferers of only OSAHS and only insomnia.The sufferers of comorbidity of OSAHS and difficulty in maintaining sleep was more prone to dysphoria and depression than sufferers of difficulty in maintaining sleep.
