Clinical Observation Of "Fu Zheng Hua Yu Jie Du San Jie" Prescription Combined With Chemotherapy For Advanced Colon Cancer

Objiective:To discuss the objective response and safety of "Fu Zheng Hua Yu Jie Du San Jie"prescription with chemotherapy for advanced colon cancer which is postoperative frecurrence and metastasis;and to investigate the unigue advantages of TCM in order to provide sufficient evidence for the treatment of the advanced colon cancer.Methods:30 patients are collected according to relevant requirements of the experiment and are randomly divided into two groups.15 patients in treatment proup are treated by "Fu Zheng Hua Yu Jie Du San Jie" prescription combined with chemotherapy;the other 15 in control group are treated by chemotherapy alone. Both of the groups have the same regimen"Raltitrexed combined with Tegafur".The concrete usage and dosage is:.Taking Tegafur two times a day,60mg each time continuously for 14 days; intravenous dripping Raltitrexed the first day for 15 minites.Then take one week rest after the theropy called one course.Two coursrse makes one treatment cycle.The treatment group oral take Chinese medicine preparations during chemotherapy period,1 agent daily,two times each day.The overall treatment lasts 2 months. Compare the changes such as objective focus,symptoms,QOL,tumor marks,immune index,KPS and so on between the two groups.Analyse the diffebces of the dutum according to the statistics. Results:There are no significant differences in narrowing objective focus and in reducingtumor marks between two groups, p<0.05. But the treatment has obviouse advantages in improving the symptoms especially in weakness,poor appetite,emaciation, and alleviating KPS,QOL and immune function,p<0.05. Also the treatment group is better in reducing nausea and vomiting csused by toxic side effects of chemotherapy than the control group, p<0.05,but has no superiority in bone marrow suppression and functions of liver and kidney, p>0.05. Conclusion:It is proved that the decotion can adjust the immune function,alleviate theuncomfortable symptoms,reduce the toxic side effects and imprvove life quality.It is worth widely promoting as its distinguished clinical effects.
