As the tentative research of disease and genes are made by researchers, their relations have been gradually acknowledged. The development of correlative technology greatly promotes the further research, next generation sequencing technology, for example. With the development of high-throughput sequencing technology, researchers can capture more direct coding and non-coding data expressed in human diseases. Since the coding material which regulates and controls the human development is gigantic in numbers, such as the number of genes reaches up to over twenty thousand, the difficulty of acquiring key genes is rising up with the increase of dimension. The achievements related with genes and illness are increasing recent years, researchers have founded that there are similarities among many diseases, as some genes have similar reflection in various diseases. In order to investigate the connection between genes and carry out further study about the problem of disease network, some methods are required to identify the genes concerned with various diseases.. In this context, Pan Cancer project emerges just as the time, which aims at studying the connection between multiple diseases.This paper carries out a study about the relationship between complex diseases and genes,. Based on the relation between mi RN A and target genes, the paper proposes a method, termed as miTOm(mi RNA TOm RNA), to discover related genes about diseases by using mi RN A data from Pan Cancer project. The method miTOm prevent the inconvenience from analyzing the high-dimensional m RN A expression data directly.The innovative results achieved in this paper are as follows:1.The method miTOm is proposed to discover related genes in complex disease. Through analysing the mi RNA data of low-dimension, and combining with the relationship between mi RN A and target genes, the related genes of complex diseases can be found accordingly. It avoids analyzing directly the high-dimensional m RNA expression data.2. The miTOm method is applied to data from Pan Cancer project. First of all, miTOm is used to analyze several cancer samples of Pan Cancer. Then the analysis of the data compounded by six kinds of cancer samples is made. The results show that miTOm can discover related genes of complex diseases.The foresaid method of miTOm can also be expanded to analysis of other complex diseases, which provides reference for biological target therapy of polygenic diseases, the research of biological drug,pathogenesis and risk prediction.
