Predictive Value Of HATCH Score On Recurrence Of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation After Catheter Ablation

Objective:To predictive the value of HATCH score of persistent atrial fibrillation(AF)recurrence after catheter ablation.Methods:In January 2012 to December 2014,108 patients with persistent atrial fibrillation accept single catheter ablation therapy were followed-up.The patients divided into three groups,46 cases were involved in the group of HATCH score=0,37 cases were involved into the group of HATCH=1,25 cases were involved into the group of HATCH?2.Following-up the patients through telephone or outpatient every 3 months after the catheter ablation,the end of follow-up was in December 2015.The recurrence was defined as atrial tachyarrhythmia last 30 seconds after 3 months of catheter ablation.The patients divided into recurrence group and success group,predictive the value of HATCH score of persistent atrial fibrillation(AF)recurrence after catheter ablation.Results:The recurrence group involve 82 cases(75.9%),success group involve 26 cases(24.1%),Follow-up one year,the HATCH score(1.30±1.40)of recurrence group is higher than the HATCH score(0.27±0.53)of success group(P<0.05).The HATCH score,duration of atrial fibrillation and left atrial diameter were independent predictors of predicting recurrence of atrial fibrillation through Logistic regression analysis(P<0.05).Diagnostic analysis showed that HATCH score,left atrial diameter,duration of atrial fibrillation area under the ROC curve were 0.751,0.750,0.618.Conclusion: HATCH score for persistent atrial fibrillation after catheter ablation have predictive value,and with the increase of grade,postoperative recurrence rate will increase.Duration and left atrial diameter is also valuable for prognosis evaluation.No matter which kind of operation method,the application for the prognosis of persistent atrial fibrillation had no difference,and the best way of surgery for patients with persistent atrial fibrillation remains controversial.
