| Objective:By observing the Postoperative MMSE score changes and the expression of serum Aβ-42 and Tau-181 protein in elderly male patients after laparoscopic gastrectomy under stellate ganglion block.Investigate the effect of stellate ganglion block on postoperative cognitive function in elderly patients and Whether this effect is related with the expression of Aβ-42 and Tau-181 protein.Method:50 Elderly male patients for elective surgery undergoing general anesthesia with laparoscopic gastrectomy,were randomly divided into Stellate ganglion block group(group S)and control group(group C),and N = 25.Before the induction of general anesthesia 0.5% lidocaine was injected into the right of the sixth cervical transverse portion in group S,and Group C patients were injected of 0.9% saline.Respectively testing serum Aβ-42 and Tau-181 protein by ELISA at the time before induction of anesthesia(T0),after anesthesia recovery one hour(T1),the first day(T2),the three day(T3)and the seven day(T4).And using the MMSE score to asses cognitive function at T0,T2,T3,and T4 time point.Result:The MMSE scores at T2,T3 and T4 point were reduced compared with preoperative T0 point in two group(P <0.05),but MMSE score at T4 time point were rise than the T3 point(P <0.05).And serum Aβ-42 and Tau-181 protein at T1,T2,T3 and T4 point were increased compared with preoperative(P <0.05),but the two kinds of proteins at T4 time point were lower than T3 point(P <0.05).Compared with C group,S group of patients were higher in MMSE score at T2,T3 and T4 point(P<0.05)and have a low expression of serum Aβ-42 and Tau-181 protein at T1,T2,T3 and T4point(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.The serum Aβ-42 and Tau-181 protein expression in elderly patients can besuppressed by stellate ganglion block;Stellate ganglion block can improve early postoperative cognitive function,and this effect is related with the expression of Aβ-42 and Tau-181 protein. |
