BackgroundWith the rapid development of modern society, people's life style, changes a lot.material abundance has led to a significant change in the incidence of some diseases.According to the world health organization(WHO) prediction,by 2020,non-infectious disease account for nearly 80% of the causes of death, the first is cardiovascular disease, hypertension as one of the most common cardiovascular disease, it can lead to serious acute cardiocerebrovascular diseases such as stroke, and sudden cardiac death, as well as a series of chronic damage, such as myocardial remodeling, kidney damage, fundus change and so on.Cardiac remodeling is an important process of hypertension of chronic heart damage,It play an important role in coronary heart disease(CAD), heart failure(HF),heart valve disease, arrhythmia, and other cardiovascular disease process. We can eventually announce that the heart remodeling is the basis of the various kinds of heart disease, and the inevitable pathologic stage. Cardiac remodeling is the heart adaptability to various stimuli, including structure, to refactor and electricity structure reconstruction of myocardium hypertrophy and hyperplasia of collagen cells and tissue necrosis and decrease of myocardial cell apoptosis,It often characterized by increased ventricular volumes and changes in the form of ventricle; Electrical remodeling main show is the change of ion channel, to connect the distribution of the protein change and the distribution of gap junctions, often leads to the resting membrane potential and action potential schedule change, caused the inequality of the myocardial electrical activity, cause arrhythmia. Myocardial cells is the function of the heart, compensatory hypertrophy and pathological factors spurred decompensation during development to apoptosis and necrosis. Cardiac fibroblasts in maintaining the normal structure and function plays an important role in cardiac, pathological factors, proliferation, collagen synthesis increase, and excessive deposition, leads to myocardial fibrosis. Cardiac remodeling is a variety ofcardiovascular disease occurrence, development and the independent risk factors of death, its pathogenesis and drug intervention research is of great significance. In recent years, the mechanism of myocardial remodeling is a hot topic in the field of cardiovascular prevention. Numerous experimental results confirmed that ventricular wall stress increased mechanical signal, RAS system transition activation, endogenous sympathetic hyperactivity, oxidative stress and other factors in play an important role in the occurrence and development of myocardial remodeling. These signals through the muscle membrane channel and microtubule system ring adenosine phosphate, arrived in the cell nucleus DNA caused by the change of gene expression. The protein synthesis of myocardial cells accelerate, collagen synthesis over decomposition. For the above targets of blocking drugs and mechanism research applied to clinical and made great cardiovascular benefits. Due to myocardial remodeling is caused by many factors, the future research trend will shift from of old targets to explore for searching for new targets, and to study its blocking measures, thus acquiring more comprehensive myocardial vascular protective effect.Testosterone is one of the most important hormones in human body, in maintaining growth, sexual desire and play an important role in immune function, and also on the lipid metabolism, glucose metabolism, inflammation, the formation of blood cells have a certain influence, has been widely applied in diseases such as male gonad hypofunction. 1990 Zumoffb etc. The study found that testosterone also has an effect on the cardiovascular system, after the research increase gradually, but the specific biological effect is uncertain, studies have shown that testosterone is associated with adverse cardiovascular events; While another study confirmed that testosterone has a protective effect on cardiovascular system, such as atherosclerosis, dilate blood vessels, protect Ang ? induced vascular remodeling, etc.The biological effect of testosterone are implemented by testosterone receptors, there is a negative feedback to adjust between the two. Low concentration of testosterone boost testosterone receptor protein expression, above a certain concentration of testosterone may have testosterone receptor protein expression.Testosterone receptors inside the heart mainly locate in the atrial and ventricular muscle cell nucleus. 2005 domestic found that testosterone receptors exist in the cardiac neurons, in succession since then have related research reports, but still more focused on testosterone receptors in the distribution of each part of the body, for in pathological conditions, the dynamic changes of the testosterone receptor in myocardial tissue, biological significance, and its molecular mechanism, at present did not see the reports.ObjectiveTo explore the role of testosterone receptor in hypertensive myocardialremodeling.MethodsThirty rats allocated into three groups:control group, sham group, operation group(the rats were to establish hypertension model), with ten rats in each group, eight weeks after operation, the morphological change in myocardial tissue was observed under light microscope, and the expression levels of testosterone receptor and MKP-1 were tested by immunohistochemistry.ResultCompared with the sham group and control group, the expression levels of testosterone receptor and MKP-1 in myocardial tissue of the model group decreased signficantly(P<0.05),and they were positively correlatrd(r=0.657,P=0.039).ConclusionThe testosterone receptor take part in myocardial remodeling and its effect may be linked with the MAPKs signal transduction pathway.
