Objective:To explore the relationship between serum undercarboxlated osteocalin level and coronary heart disease(CHD) type?coronary artery lesion severity, and to evaluate whether serum undercarboxlated osteocalin level is an independent risk factor of CHD or not.Methods:180 cases with coronary angiography hospitalized were collected. The medical history of age?gender?smoking?drinking?dia-betes?hypertension.laboratory results of serum undercarboxlated osteocalcin?plasma glucose and lipid. clinical indicators of SBP?DBP and coronary angiography. Echocardiography results during hospitalizati-on of all the patients were recorded.According to the results of coronary angiography,180 cases were divided into CHD groups(140cases) and non-CHD group(40cases).Then compared the difference of the clinical indicators between the two group.CHD group was divided into SAP?UAP and AMI group.According to the type of CHD and divided into the single-vessel and multiple-vessel subgroup.According to the count of vascular lesions,And then serum undercarboxylated osteocalcin level was compared among two subgroup, respectively.According to the integration of Gensini,to evaluate correlation between serum undercarloxlated osteocalcin level and coronary artery lesion severity. With binary logistic regression analysis to CHD,to evaluate whether serum undercarloxylated osteocalcin level is an independent risk factor of CHD or not.Results:1.Serum undercarloxylated osteocalcin in CHD group was significantly lower than non-CHD group[(1.02±0.35)ng/ml vs (1.32±0.51)ng/ml].Ther-e are statistical significances (P<0.05).2.The level of serum undercarlox-ylated osteocalcin in SAP?UAP and AMI subgroup was respectively (1.2 2±0.38)ng/ml?(1.04±0.23)ng/m?(0.89±0.21)ng/ml.The level of serum undercarloxylated osteocalcin in three group was significantly lower than non-CHD(1.32±0.51)ng/ml.There are statistical significances (P<0.05). 3.The level of serum undercarloxylated osteocalcin was respectively (1.32±0.51)ng/m?(1.10±0.36)ng/m?(0.97±0.34)ng/ml in non-CHD group?single-vessel and multiple-vessel subgroup. And the difference was significant (P<0.05).4.The level of serum undercarloxylated osteocalcin was respectively (0.96±0.32)ng/ml?(1.125±0.34)ng/ml in high integration of Gensini and low integration of Gensini group. And the difference was significant(P< 0.05).5.With binary logistic regression analysis to CHD, SBP?TC?TG?LDL-C and the low serum undercarboxylated osteocalcin level can be taken as an independent risk factor of CHD.Conclusion:1.Serum undercarloxylated osteocalcin level is closely related to the occurrence of coronary heart disease and the coronary artery lesion severity.2.The low serum undercarloxylated osteocalcin level will be as an independent risk factor of CHD,and it can be used for finding timely and earlier the dangerous crowd of CHD in the clinical.
