Background Cerebral arteriovenous malformation is the most common cerebral vascular dysplasia mainly due to cerebral vascular mesoderm formation of abnormal development.Typical AVM consists of feeding arteries, abnormal vascular group(nest)and draining veins of three parts.Abnormal vascular group from less than 1cm diameter to more than 10 cm.The incidence and prevalence of the disease is not clear, according to foreign literature, the disease incidence is about 1.1-1.4 / 100,000.The disease is common in young men.The main clinical symptoms include hemorrhage, headache, seizures and neurological disabilities.DSA is the gold standard of diagnosis AVM.Currently lack of cerebral arter iovenous malformation,multi-center,large sample, prospective analysis,In addition to the AVM hemorrhage risk factors remains controversial. Objective Collected data of AVM patients' clinical characteristics and Hemorrh age risk factors in Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University. In order to understand the situation of AVM patients in Dalian and to make recommendations of brain AVM diagnosis and treatment, prevention of bleeding. Methods: Collected data of 51 patients first time diagnosed from January 2005 to December 2015,Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, including age, gender, hypertension,High cholesterol; The size of the feeding artery of the source,Spetzler-Marting grading, with or without combination with other intracranial vascular abnormalities.First of all analyzing single factors the nanalying the multivariate Logistic regression with meaningful results,to arrive at the epidemiological characteristics of AVM and risk factors for hemorrhage. Results Epidemiological characteristics: Clinical characteristic: there were totally 51 patients including 28 males and 23 females, the ratio is 1.22:1.The average age was 39.1 years old,and the peak was 20-30 years old.symptoms: Mai nly hemorrhage, according for 64.7%.The number of using different Treatments: surgery 29,embolization 5,surgery and embolization 3,radiotherapy 4,conser vative 10.Surgery complications including hemiplegia, bleeding, intracranial in fection nerve dysfunction.AVM distribution: 42 cases in the shallow,9 cases in deep.AVM diameter from 0.8cm to 10 cm,31 cases less than 3cm,20 cases greater than 3cm.Spetzler-Martin grade:6 grade ?,18 grade ?,22 grade ?,3 grade ?,1 grade ?,1 grade ?.The number of feeding arteries:33 cases have 1-2 artery, the other have more than 2 artery.Draining veins:39 cases in shallow,12 cases in deep.Risk factors of Hemorrhage Younger than 40 years old(OR=1.043,95%CI 1.003-1.086);AVM maximum diameter of ?3cm,are two independent risk factors. Conclusion AVM is common in young patients before the age of 40,the incidence of man is slightly higher than female.Mostly occur in the supratentorial cerebral hemispheres shallow.Mainly symptom include: hemorrhage, headache, seizures and neurological disabilities. The current treatment of AVM mainly mic rosurgery resection, and have a good results for less than grade ? patients.Younger than 40 years old,AVM maximum diameter of ?3cm,are two risk factors need to be watch out for.
