Objective: Through the detection and comparison of the index levels of immune system from peripheral blood of adult cryptogenic epilepsy patients,secondary epilepsy patients and healthy human,analysis the states of epilepsy patients' immune function,discuss the possible role of immune abnormality in the pathogenesis of cryptogenic epilepsy,and to achieve the final goal to find a new way to prevent or cure epilepsy.Methods: Choose 60 patients of epilepsy,and among them 30 patients are cryptogenic epilepsy and 30 are secondary epilepsy,and then collect 30 healthy people as normal control at the meantime.All those 90 subjects fulfilled specific criteria.We recorded their conditions like age,gender,age of onset,the type of epilepsy,drug administration,family history of diseases,history of past illness,electroencephalography,magnetic resonance imaging of the head and so on.Blood collection from the veins of all the subjects,using FCM to detect the percentage of CD3+T cells,CD4+T cells,and CD8+T cells.Immune scatter turbiditymethod to detect the level of Ig G,Ig A,Ig M,C3,C4,and using Western blotting and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay to detect the level of GADA and ANA.Using SPSS 20.0 statistics software to do data manipulation and analysis statistics,and the standard of significance is P<0.05.Results:1.Compare with the healthy control,cryptogenic epilepsy patients have a lower CD4+T cells(P=0.000<0.05),CD4+/CD8+(P=0.000<0.05),and a higher CD8+T cells(P=0.048<0.05)and the diversity has its statistics meanings(P<0.05),and secondary epilepsy patients have a a higher CD8+T cells and the diversity has its statistics meanings(P<0.05).And the difference between cryptogenic epilepsy patients and secondary epilepsy patients has no statistics meanings(P>0.05)?2.Compare with the healthy control,cryptogenic epilepsy patients who hadn't have taken anticonvulsant drugs before have a lower CD4+/CD8+ level and a higher CD8+T cells,and the diversity has its statistics meanings(P=0.000<0.05),and secondary epilepsy patients who hadn't have taken anticonvulsant drugs before have a higher CD8+T cells,and the diversity has its statistics meanings(P=0.032<0.05).And the difference between cryptogenic epilepsy patients and secondary epilepsy patients has no statistics meanings(P>0.05)?3.Compare with the healthy control,cryptogenic epilepsy patientswho had taken anticonvulsant drugs regularly have a lower CD4+T(P=0.030<0.05)cells and CD4+/CD8+(P=0.019<0.05)level,and the diversity has its statistics meanings.The diversity of the subsets of T lymphocytes between cryptogenic epilepsy patients who had taken anticonvulsant drugs regularly and secondary epilepsy patients who had taken anticonvulsant drugs regularly has no statistics meanings(P>0.05).4.The difference of Ig A,Ig M,Ig G,C3 and C4 between the healthy control,cryptogenic epilepsy patients and secondary epilepsy patients have no statistics meanings(P>0.05);5.Compare with the healthy control,cryptogenic epilepsy patients who hadn't have taken anticonvulsant drugs before have a lower Ig A(P=0.038<0.05)and Ig G(P=0.031<0.05)level,and a higher Ig M(P=0.034<0.05)level,and the diversity has its statistics meanings,compare with cryptogenic epilepsy patients who hadn't have taken anticonvulsant drugs before,secondary epilepsy patients who hadn't have taken anticonvulsant drugs before have a lower C4 level,and the diversity has its statistics meanings(P=0.004<0.05);6.The difference of Ig A,Ig M,Ig G,C3 and C4 between the healthy control,cryptogenic epilepsy patients who had taken anticonvulsant drugs regularly and secondary epilepsy patients who had taken anticonvulsant drugs regularly have no statistics meanings(P>0.05);7.Compare with the healthy control,epilepsy patients who had taken anticonvulsant drugs regularly have a higher rate of ANA positive(P=0.033<0.05),and the diversity has its statistics meanings,.and the difference between cryptogenic epilepsy patients and secondary epilepsy patients has no statistics meanings(P>0.05)?Conclusion:1.There are functional disorders of immunity in patients with cryptogenic epilepsy,and among them cellular immunity disorder is the most significant(with a lower CD4+ T cells and CD4+/CD8+ level).2.The conventional anticonvulsant drugs may have an impact on cryptogenic epilepsy patients' immune function;3.Different type of epilepsy may have different kinds of functional disorder of immune system,and cryptogenic epilepsy patients are severe.4.Functional disorder of immune system may cause cryptogenic epilepsy,it's really important to detect the function of immune system for epilepsy patients.
