Objective:Analysis of LIVIN and PTEN gene expression level of 37 cases with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma(MM)patients in Haematology department of Yijishan Hospital,make clear that LIVIN and PTEN gene expression levels are correlated with clinical features,explore for the possibility of LIVIN and PTEN molecular targeted therapy and individualized treatment in multiple myeloma.Methods:In this study,Choosed 37 MM patients in experimental group;10 exception injury patients with bone marrow specimens as control group.From June 2010 up to October 2014 collected for 37 cases of bone marrow specimens from patients with newly diagnosed MM.Follow-up as of March 2016.At the beginning of December2015,completed all RT-PCR detections of bone marrow specimens,and collected the clinical data.Results: LIVIN and PTEN relative expression quantities more than 0.1 were defined as positive expression,LIVIN in known cases positive expression rate was 78.4%,control group of positive expression rate was 20.0%,the cases of LIVIN gene positive rate was significantly higher than that of control group,the difference had statistical significance(P = 0.001).PTEN in known cases positive expression rate was 18.9%,control group of positive expression rate was 70.0%,the cases group of PTEN gene positive rate was significantly lower than the control group,the difference had statistical significance(P =0.002).To statistical analysis patients with hemoglobin,ESR,LDH,CRP,Cr,?2 micro globulin,albumin,Ca,plasma cells,LIVIN gene expression and PTEN gene expression,single factor regression analysis showed the ?2 microglobulin,LIVIN gene expression and PTEN gene expression were risk factors for multiple myeloma survival rate(P <0.05).Multi-factor regression analysis suggested the?2microglobulin and LIVIN gene expression were risk factors for multiple myeloma overall survival.Conclusion : The expression rate of LIVIN gene in multiple myeloma increases significantly,and PTEN gene expression rate decreases obviously in multiple myeloma,both have important relationship with clinical features in MM,even to overall survival of myeloma.LIVIN gene expression in patients follows with significantly short overall survival(OS),We believe that LIVIN gene can be used as myeloma independent risk factors of poor prognosis.Try to view LIVIN gene and PTEN gene expression in patients with multiple myeloma,we envisage the molecular target therapy through suppressing LIVIN gene expression and promoting of PTEN gene transcription level increases,and these are expected to plan new generation of molecular targeted therapy drugs.
