| Cognitive dysfunction is one of the most severely complication of diabetes mellitus,whose main characteristic is the declined ability of learning,memory,language and expression.It produced a heavy influence on the quality of life.It has been showed glucagon-like peptide 1(GLP-1)analogues,a new type of antidiabetic,could improve the cognitive impairment of central nervous system neurodegenerative disease such as Alzheimer's disease,Parkinson disease and Stroke.In this review,we summarized the pathogenesis of diabetic cognitive dysfunction and the newest progress of GLP-1 analogues,exploring the effect of GLP-1 analogues on diabetic cognitive dysfunction and its potential pathogenesis. |
