Objective:To measure the changes in the area of portal vein(PV),hepatic inferior vena cava(HIVC)and the area ratio in cirrhosis with 64 slices spiral-CT and to study the relationship between the changes with Child-Pugh grading of liver cirrhosis.Methods:1 148 cases of normal subjects as control group(male 70 cases,16-80 years, average age 45.2;female 78 cases,14-87 years, average age 51.2)and 116 cases of patients with cirrhosis as experimental group(male 71 cases,Child-Pugh A 18 cases,Child-Pugh B 37 cases,Child-Pugh C 16 cases;female 45 cases,Child-Pugh A 18 cases,Child-Pugh B 19 cases,Child-Pugh C 8 cases)were selected according to the inclusion criteria.2 All the subjects were underwent contrast-enhanced scan.Take the area of PV(portal vein bifurcation's distal 2 cm)and HIVC(portal vein bifurcation's level)as the research object.3 The data of PV,HIVC and PV/HIVC were collected and processed on GE AW 4.5 workstation using area, lines and angle measuring agreement.4 Statistics results were obtained by statistical software SPSS 21.0.Results:1 The area of the PV,HIVC and the ratio in control group had significant difference on gender(P<0.05),but no significant difference on age(P>0.05).2 The area of the HIVC and the ratio in experimental group had significant difference on Child-Pugh A,B and A,C(P<0.05),no significant difference on Child-Pugh B,C(P>0.05);the area of the HIVC and the ratio had negative, positive correlation with the Child-Pugh grading of liver cirrhosis, the former was more stronger;the area of the PV had no significant difference on Child-Pugh grading(P>0.05).3 The area of the PV,HIVC and the ratio had significant difference between the control and experimental group(P<0.05),the area of the PV and the ratio in experimental group increased, the area of the HIVC decreased.4 The percentage of hepatic parenchyma encircling the circumference of the HIVC between the two groups had significant difference(P<0.05).5 The lumen's shape of PV between the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05)and the HIVC had significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions:1 The area of the PV,HIVC and the ratio in control group had significant difference on gender, but no significant difference on age.2 In hepatic cirrhosis, the area of the HIVC will grow down, and the ratio will increase contrasting healthy subjects, but no significant difference on Child-Pugh B,C;the correlation of the area of the HIVC and Child-Pugh grading was more stronger.3 The area of the PV in cirrhosis will increase, but no significant difference on Child-Pugh grading.4 In hepatic cirrhosis, the percentage of hepatic parenchyma encircling the circumference of HIVC will be increased.5 In hepatic cirrhosis, the pressure of the HIVC will be increased.
