Investigation On The Mechanism Of Uveal Effusion Happened In The Progression And Treatment Of Glaucoma Patients

Uveal effusion(UE) is an abnormal accumulation of serous fuild in the potential space between the ciliochoroid and the sclera. The glaucoma patients complicating UE is not uncommon in clinical practice.But so far,the researches on this clinical manifestation domestically are mostly fouced on the situation after acute attack of PACG or after glaucoma filtering surgery.With the application and popularization of Ultrasound biomicroscopy(UBM), the detectable rate of UE is improving, and it can provide trusty means for medical diagnoses of this clinical manifestation.The article reviewed the pathophysiology and the therapeutic method of UE in the progression and treatment in various types of glaucoma.
