Disorders of consciousness(DOC)means the state that patients lose awareness of the environment,or mental activity of environment perception upon barriers.In treatment of DOC patients,currently most commonly used methods include drug therapy,hyperbaric oxygen therapy,sound stimulation,electrical stimulation therapy.But these treatments is limited to DOC patient's therapy,in that case,to explore other methods of treatment will have important clinical significance.In a previous study we found that habit stimulation elicits intense behavioral responses in DOC patients,but currently there are few reports about hobby stimulate physiological mechanisms of DOC patient in international.In this paper,19 cases of DOC patients were selected,from Electroencephalogram(EEG)perspective to research habit stimulation,and exploring quantitative research of habit stimulation on EEG features.The mainly research contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)Effectiveness research of habit stimulation.Nonlinear dynamical entropy were be chosen as EEG characteristic parameters,the results show that the characteristic of habit stimulation is higher than resting state,so as to arrive to determine the effectiveness of habit stimulation.(2)Comparative study of habit stimulation and sound stimulation that includes music stimulation and name stimulation.Nonlinear dynamics method and wavelet analysis are applied to extract EEG response features,the results shows that habit stimulation response was significantly higher than music stimulation,and significantly less than name stimulation.(3)Different brain regions feature's research in hobby stimulation.At first,researched the EEG features at different condition includes removal damage,not removal damage,no damage.The results shows that not remove damage significantly less than removal damage and no damage,so we concluded the effectively determine of removal damage.In this basis,by selecting permutation entropy as nonlinear dynamics method's features parameters,the results show the highest response features of the frontal zone at habit stimulation,and by EEG topographic maps of visual representations also shows the frontal region having the maximum response.
