Analyze The Correlation Factors Of Urinary Retention After Hifu Treatment Of Uterine Fibroids

Objective:To investigate the correlation factors of urinary retention after HIFU treatment of uterine fibroids.In order to understand the causes of HIFU postoperative urinary retention.Methods:Retrospective analysis the 886 cases of uterine fibroids were treated with HIFU from August 2011 to December 2014, age:20-50 years old,mean age:38 years old. Including 10 patients with urinary retention. On the 10 patients generally situation(age, frequent urination, and anemia symptoms, surgical history), number of lesions?size?location, bladder filling volume?water bag size, treatment parameters (time, irradiation time, the intensity of treatment, the average power)and intraoperative radiation pain reaction in detail records. Observe the relationship between postoperative urinary retention and these factors, make statistical analysis.Results:1.Urinary retention which needed to urethral catheterization with 1-3 day to promote recovery,in 886 patients accounted for 1.13%(10/886).2.Unconditioned Logist regression showed that patients' age,urinary frequency, anemia before surgery,water sac size, irradiation time, treatment intensity, average power, radiation pain intensity(P>0.05), there was no statistically significant difference. But treatment time, bladder filling volume (P<0.05),said it is associated with postoperative urinary retention.3.10 patients with urinary retention,we used t test,it showed: patient age, lesion, treatment intensity and irradiation time,average power, bladder filling volume(P>0.01), visibled that there was no correlation between postoperative urine retention and these factors.But the treatment time(P<0.01), visibled urinary retention associated with treatment time,treatment time was longer,urinary retention probability was higher.Conclusions:1.During HIFU treatment of uterine fibroids,the treatment time is important factor influencing the postoperative urinary retention.Bladder filling volume may be positively correlated with the incidence of postoperative urinary retention, but positive cases of this study is less, still needs further research.2.Patient age; urinary frequency, symptoms of anemia, fibroid size, sin gle or multiple, location; Intraoperative irradiation time,treatment intensity, average power,radiation pain intensity, the factors have no clear correlation with the occurrence of postoperative urinary retention.
